It's pretty clear that Dexter is invoking the Code, part "Never get caught." Wow. Dexter immediately overrules Deb. Interesting, though not unsurprising. A part of him knew that he couldn't keep it from her forever. I wonder if a part of her knew anything?

Dexter - Season 7 - Press Release SPOILERS:
Season 7 returns in explosive fashion, as Dexter (Michael C. Hall) is finally forced to confront his greatest fear, as Debra (Jennifer Carpenter) witnesses his insatiable, ritualistic slaying of a killer. Now Deb knows the secret of his Dark Passenger, his undeniable thirst for blood, and the Code that their father Harry (James Remar) instilled in him as a young boy.
But as Deb tries to reconcile the unfathomable idea that her beloved, mild-mannered brother is Miami’s most notorious serial killer, Dexter is still pulled by his natural impulses to seek out the guilty and exact his brand of vigilante justice, which leads him on the trail of a brutal Ukrainian mobster (Ray Stevenson).
Along the way, Dexter meets Hannah McKay (Yvonne Strahovski), a strong, independent woman with a past that she's struggled to put behind her. As a turn of events leads Miami Metro Homicide to ask for her help in solving some old cases, Dexter works with her and begins to wonder if there's more to this woman than she's professed.

Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) was in the midst of a blood frenzy with the rest of the vampires in a bar on Bourbon Street when his and Nora's (Lucy Griffiths) deceased maker,'Godric,' made an appearance and called him out as doing 'wrong.' Godric instructed Eric to reign in his sister in as though Eric knew better (than to go on a feeding frenzy), Nora did not. Unfortunately, all the other vampires are behaving as Nora, in a state of hallucinogenic blood-lust and they appear not to have any concerns about how many humans they consume. Even worse, Bill (Stephen Moyer) appears to genuinely be buying into their new openly-proclaimed 'Sanguinista' philosophy that humans are simply a food source for vampires.
True Blood Season 5: Episode 56 Clip - 'Glimmer of Hope' Sneak Peek (VIDEO):
True Blood Episode 5.08: Somebody That I Used to Know:
Despite some retconning on the part of True Blood writers regarding Sookie's faery heritage--she is now 'half Fae,' versus the 'one-eighth Fae' that she's been stated to be in the series up to this point, they would really have to pull a hat trick to have Bill be the vampire who attacked and killed Sookie's parents. Sookie is supposed to only be in her late 20's: her parents died about 20 years ago and Bill was shown in the 1980's already mainstreaming. The numbers just do not add up to be Bill nor does this guy look anything like Bill. This then, to have the story come full circle so to speak, is Russell--the vampire with the power to smell faery blood on a band-aid in closed car, in a driving rainstorm, from how many yards away?
True Blood Episode #56 'Somebody I Used To Know' - Extended Synopsis:
At Authority headquarters, the Chancellors revel in the afterglow of recent events; Eric gets a message from Godric; Bill is shaken by a distant memory. Helped by Claude and his sisters, Sookie and Jason visit the site of their parents' deaths, with shocking results. An emotional Luna tries to walk in Sam's shoes. Hoyt's new pals bring him a present; Lafayette leads a séance to purge a curse; J.D. ups the stakes of his fight with Alcide. Written by HBO Publicity

Mary-Louise Parker as Nancy Botwin in Weeds episode 8.05 (Credit: Michael Desmond /Showtime)
It is said the more things change, the more they stay the same and that seems to have been particularly applicable to Weed's Nancy Botwin (MARY-LOUISE PARKER) over the years. Nancy changed her environment by moving numerous times, she changed partners many times, too--they ranged from one-night stands to full-on marriage. She continually tried to make fresh starts with a vague goal of making enough money to 'start over.' But she never seemed to realize that as long as she dealt weed she would always be outside the law and so would bring trouble upon herself--and those around her--time and again. But now, depending on your perspective, the inevitable or the unthinkable has happened to Nance--she took a .22 caliber bullet to the head and survived mostly intact, has the impetus for real change begun? It's hard to know but it is evident that she is very aware that she has been living a life of screwing up and she wants to stop. In this episode she meets the man who she's been stealing middle-of-the-night swims from in his backyard pool. He happens to be the same man we met in the season 8 premiere--the rabbi (David Julian Hirsh) who offered words of wisdom and comfort to a fraught Andy at the hospital.
The rabbi looks to be exactly Nancy's type but more important, he has his act together, is caring, compassionate and devout. Is there any way that our favourite (ex?) drug dealer could make a life with a small-town rabbi? Well, if there's anything we've learned, it is that anything can happen on Weeds.
Mary-Louise Parker as Nancy Botwin in Weeds episode 8.05 (Credit: Showtime)
It's a testament to the great writing and Mary-Louise Parker's deft acting that we still care about what becomes of her as we finish out this 8th and final season of Weeds. Show creator Jenji Kohan has interviewed that much of this season will be taking us in a full-circle direction. Could it be then that 8 years-ago Nancy lost her Jewish husband (to a heart attack whilst jogging with son Shane (ALEXANDER GOULD) and now she's met a really nice Jewish guy and will truly start the life that she's dreamed of?
WEEDS (Season 8) – “Red In Tooth And Claw” – Episode 8.05 Synopsis:
Nancy’s (MARY-LOUISE PARKER) attempt to raise money for Stevie’s soccer fees tempts her back to her old ways as she battles to finally leave the drug business for good. Jill (JENNIFER JASON LEIGH) uses Doug (KEVIN NEALON) to get revenge on Andy (JUSTIN KIRK). Shane (ALEXANDER GOULD) and Angela (DANIELE WATTS) go on a double date with Ouellette (MICHAEL HARNEY) and his wife. Meanwhile, Silas’ (HUNTER PARRISH) friendship with R.J. (DOMINIC DIERKES) takes a strange turn.

Anna Paquin as 'Sookie' and Lois Smith as 'Gran' in True Blood season 1 (Credit: HBO)
HBO has released summaries for the upcoming August episodes of True Blood!
And, these are not your garden-variety plot summaries--they are packed with SPOILERS!
For example, (I'll give you a small one) we are going to seeLois Smith again! If you recall, she was Sookie and Jason's irreplaceable 'Gran' who was killed off far too soon in the series' first season. I've long thought that the series would be richer with just a bit more human element to it. Gran was such a steadying force in Sookie and Jason's life. I think that they could have kept the crazy but given us some breathers in the form of Gran. And I simply adore Lois Smith. I'm so glad she's able to be featured in an upcoming season 5 episode of True Blood!
There are more spoilers ahead so proceed with caution (or if you are like me, just dive right in!)

As Nancy Botwin enthuses, 'It's amazing what a .22 caliber slug can do,' she also faces the realities of getting back into the weed business by revisiting an old 'friend.' Meanwhile, Shane, who in the past few years has seemed the least well-adjusted to the Botwin family's every-changing spin on life, seems to be thriving in the the police academy environment. Doug discovers a disgusting habit that he'd been unaware of while the Andy-Jill hook-up grows more serious despite Andy's reflexive feelings towards Nancy.

From the True Blood (HBO) blog:
The True Blood cast has been coming to Comic-Con so long now that their panel has practically become an institution. And like any well-seasoned TV stars, they knew exactly how to deliver the hotness:
The True Blood cast with creator Alan Ball at SDCC 2012 (Credit: HBO)
Alan Ball dished out some faerie stripper action.
You’ve already seen the club – it’s not a strip club per se, as it is more a burlesque club. We will see other faeries and other people in various states of undress … Sort of playing off the strip club in Charlaine’s books, we decided to make it a club where faeries just hung out and had a good time, which sometimes means having their way with humans. We wanted to be more adult, more sensual … more sort of soft-core porno faerie.
Alexander Skarsgard and Stephen Moyer relived their trunk scene.
Skarsgard: That scene was originally probably six minutes long, and it ended up being like a 10-second scene because …
Moyer: We couldn’t do it without laughing. But we did rehearse it all weekend … We both received emails from Alan, the lord and master. So we ended up kind of going in to see the principal and getting our wrists slapped.

Dexter Early Cuts: All in the Family, chapter 1. Dexter hunts a new killer on New Year's Eve:
Dexter and it's cast are a fixture at the annual San Diego Comic-Con. Showtime's long-running series' Dexter panel never fails to be a SRO crowd of enthusiastic, loyal fans. The 2012 edition was no different--it may well have been even more exciting than any previous year (remember how Dexter season 6 ended?)
Despite the lack of solid spoilers for Dexter season 7 that came out of Comic-Con 2012, there are plenty of intriguing hints and body language cues that you can enjoy trying to decipher. I know I did!
Media--video--photos--tweets--were flying fast and furious and I tried to swoop in and gather all the good stuff that I could. However, if I've failed to credit someone, please let me know and I'll fix it right up.
Every year I feel kind of envious that I don't still live in Southern California, where the annual event is held as I've not yet attended and I do want to at least once!
Fortunately, Showtime did all of us a big favour by collecting the highlights of the Dexter Panel on numerous professionally-shot videos which I've compiled with other Dexter SDCC media for you to enjoy right here!

Mary- Louise Parker as "Nancy" and Hunter Parrish as "Silas" in Weeds - Episode 8.03 on Showtime July 15
Though you have many compelling reasons to tune into WEEDS tonight on Showtime, one of the best ones begins before the show even starts!
As you have probably noted, in this new season something 'old' has been resurrected, specifically the song, 'Little Boxes' by Malvina Reynolds which became a cover phenomena many years ago (as in '40' years-ago) after tickling the whimsy of song-sters and inspiring countless renditions of the class-oriented ditty, some of which were played as the opening theme of the show.
In epsidoe 8.01, Malvina Reynolds' version was played over the opening sequence. Now, episode 8.03 features probably the most 'out there' cover of "Little Boxes,' ever! Stay tuned for tonight's closing credits and you'll see why--or you can just scroll down for a look at the quick screen grab I did while going "a-ha" simultaneously!

True Blood Season 5, part 2 - Kristen Bauer van Straten as Pam
SAN DIEGO (AP) — There's more supernatural wackiness in store for the sex-crazed residents of Bon Temps. The Saturday presentation at Comic-Con for HBO's "True Blood" kicked off with a trailer teasing the remaining episodes of the campy HBO vampire series' fifth season. The fast-moving footage showed Lafayette (played by Nelsan Ellis) channeling spirits, newbie vampire Tara (Rutina Wesley) working as a burlesque dancer (looked like she was pole-dancing at Fangtasia--I think the 'burlesque' dancing is being done in Fairyland), Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) going wild and old-school vampire Bill (Stephen Moyer) seemingly sucking down on Sookie (Anna Paquin).
"True Blood" actors Paquin, Moyer, Wesley, and Woll were joined by their co-stars Alexander Skarsgard, Christopher Meloni, Kristin Bauer, Ryan Kwanten, Sam Trammell and Joe Manganiello, as well as "True Blood" executive producer Alan Ball for the high-energy panel attended by more than 4,000 con-goers. Other than the spoilery footage, the cast kept the biggest secrets about the current season under wraps. Paquin called the final scene in the fifth season finale "very, very crazy," while Ball hinted that the audience will learn more about Sookie's parents, and there would be three new romances. "There's also a lot of people having sex, but those don't really count as romances," Ball added. The panel descended into a howling frenziness at several points during the hour-long presentation, including when "Magic Mike" co-star Manganiello empowered Ball and new cast member Meloni to perform the "body roll" stripper move, and when Kwanten was dared to walk on his hands across the stage inside a mammoth ballroom in the San Diego Convention Center. Saturday's panel ended with a standing ovation for Ball, who is stepping down as the showrunner of "True Blood" next season. SOURCE: AP___ Online: http://www.hbo.com/true-blood

HBO just announced 14 new cast additions to season three of Game of Thrones. Season three also got a premiere date: March 31, 2013. (Video with all the actors below).
Diana Rigg as Lady Olenna Tyrell. Also known as “The Queen of Thorns,” Lady Olenna is the grandmother of Margaery and Loras Tyrell and is, in many ways, the true leader of their powerful family.
I'm especially intrigued with Dame Diana Rigg being cast in another high-profile role--two in just a short span of time. She will be a really good Queen of Thorns!
Mackenzie Crook as Orell. A wildling raider, Orell is a “warg” or “skinchanger,” with the ability to enter the mind of an animal and control its actions.
Clive Russell as Bryndon “The Blackfish” Tully. Known far and wide as “The Blackfish,” Brynden is a famous knight and the uncle of Catelyn Stark. He quarreled bitterly with his brother, Lord Hoster Tully, and the two were estranged for many years.
I don't know Clive Russell's work but he certainly looks and sounds like a good fit for the role of 'Blackfish Tully' (see casting season 3 video, this page).
Jennifer Carpenter as Deb in Dexter (Showime) season 7 episode 1 (Sept 30)
Intel From Comic-Con 2012 Dexter Panel:
About that opening 2 minutes of season 7...
Q: Is Deb actually buying what Dexter is selling in first few minutes of Season 7?
A: “He hopes so… In that moment,” Michael C. Hall said with a laugh. Added Jennifer Carpenter, “She’s just taking one step at a time; she takes one step forward and is sent 10 back.”
Look for Season 7′s Deb to embrace her position of power a bit more than in previous years. “She actually needs [her authority] now. It’s the one card she has to play,” Carpenter teased. “At any second — if Deb lives after what you just saw [in the promo] — she could tell someone to put cuffs on him.” Long story short, “It’s like Dexter and Deb are just fish swimming [in opposite directions] for awhile.”
Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall in Dexter season 7 on Showtime - Sept 30, 2012
Familial Love?
Carpenter might be alone in these sentiments, but she was not as taken aback by Deb’s seemingly sudden affections toward her “brother.”
“There was certainly a fascination that I thought Deb had with Dexter [early on], so it didn’t feel like it was so bizarre to play that last season.”
However, she added, “I think him stabbing somebody trumps those thoughts.”
Alexander Skarsgård as Eric, Stephen Moyer as Bill, and Denis O'Hare as Russell in True Blood Season 5, Episode 6, "Thank God, Russell Finally Showed Up!' (j/k) i True Blood (HBO)
Remember, earlier this season, True Blood's Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) were held captive & tortured by The Authority? When Authority 'chancellor' Salome (Valentina Cervi) was bullshitting reporting to leader Roman (Chris Meloni) her assessment of Eric and Bill as possible "Sanguinistas?"
Of Eric, Salome said that he had no allegiance but to (anyone but) himself. Of Bill, it was quite different: Though not Sanguinista, he had not made a choice, 'yet.' (paraphrase).
Of the tripe Salome periodically has fed Roman this was actually a pause in the shoveling of untruths/distortions. It was clear to us the audience, that she wanted both Eric and Bill alive (but for different reasons). Now that the thumbnail synopsis of the final episode of True Blood season 5 is out (scroll down) I'm going out on a limb and saying that Salome is a Sanguinista and by season's end, if he isn't yet, Bill will be, too. Obviously, Eric will not be.
I don't know if Alan Ball is going to do what everyone dared him not to--kill Bill---but it would surprise me not as the scuttlebutt was he got a semi-public tongue-lashing from the creator of the Sookie Stackhouse series, Charlaine Harris, who, years ago of course, sold her rights to Sookie to Alan/HBO. She has yet to wind up her Southern Gothic book series but apparently the blogosphere relates, Ball got wind of Harris's plan to kill 'book Bill' and he promptly spilled the info. That is not a great way to shock your Sookie Stackhouse readers so my current guess is that Charlaine had to scrap the killing of book Bill--but that does not preclude Ball, the departing show runner of True Blood (HBO), from killing off 'our' Bill, played by Stephen Moyer, as the show moves into it's 6th season.

Dexter and Deb in a new series of 'The Early Cuts'
Family that slays together stays together - VIDEO:
The animated webisode series returns this summer. Illustrations by David Mack. Written by Scott Reynolds.
Deb watches Dexter take off in Dexter: The Early Cuts (Showtime Summer 2012)
The year is 2000:
Dexter speaks in voice-over about prostitute killings being low-priority police matters over a montage of a bloody slashing/slayings. In his job with Miami Metro as Dexter Morgan, blood-spatter analyst, he finds opportunity to look more closely at the case for clues. He finds a pattern to the location of the homicides ('a star') and decides to attempt an intervention before the next one occurs.
Dexter voice-over: 'The family that slays together, stays together' followed by a long, regretful shot at a puzzled-looking teenage Debra.
'The father', Dexter intones as he determines 'who' is driving the son to kill.'
Oh, the symbolism! Dexter didn't see it as it pertains to his own family back then. Will he though, in the present time, now that Deb knows of his Dark Passenger begin to understand the many pieces that went into the puzzle of what made Dexter Morgan a serial killer? Will Dexter's own little family stay together and if so, how?
My Dark Passenger Exposed (Dexter Spot) VIDEO:
Published on Jul 9, 2012 by SHOWTIME (VIDEO):
The following (borderline erotic) teasers feature the “siblings” writhing around separately (and suggestively) on a black bed, while Dexter’s signature voiceover ponders what’s to come. Will Deb learn to accept his true identity (“I found a way to live with my secret, but I never had a choice… Does she?”)? Or will he have to take deadly drastic measures to protect himself (“The only thing worse than not knowing what she’ll do is not knowing what I’ll do.”)?
These two promo clips for season 8 Dexter are disturbing on several levels, including erotic. It was said that they were gonna deal with the 'Deb is in love with her brother' story more in season 8 so...there you go. Shouldn't complicate a hugely complicated situation at all. I'm sure.
On second thought, it could be wound up pretty quickly via the oft-used trope of 'let's just do this' and get it over with--and then the sexual tension will be gone. That could end a lot of ways but there's one big hurdle, Dexter's high moral code would probably prevent him from doing Deb--ever. She sees him sexually, she thinks. He has never thought of her 'that way.' Given the stuff that went down in the season 6 finale and that on his best day, Dex is not exactly 'studly,' I doubt that sexual activity of any kind witll be on his 'to-do' list.
Dexter returns for season 7 Sunday, September 30 at 9 PM ET/PT.
What Happens Next? (Dexter Spot) VIDEO:
Of the two new Dexter Spots, "My Dark Passenger" and 'What Happens Next?', 'What Happens Next'could be anthems for both Dexter and Deb in season 7 DEXTER as they take stock of What Happened and What Are they Going To Do (about it). Meanwhile, I'm assuming that as much as it ever was--on steroids(!) it will have to be 'business as usual' for the sibs at Miami Metro. It's not like crime is going to just stop now that the serial murderer's, murderer has been discovered by Deb to be her bro, Dexter. But bonus(!) Dex helped Deb solve a case she didn't even know she had!
It's going to be a crazy mother-effing season 7 of a final 8 so there is very little to lose by taking risks with the writing. I think the season that begins Sept 30 on Showtime may be getting more far out in some ways than ever before. Why not? It could be fun! Very fun! Finish DEXTER and go out balls to the wall...with a question mark...

Weeds : The Many Faces of Nancy VIDEO:
Take a look back on the many faces and identities of Nancy throughout the seasons.
The writer and creator of Weeds, Jenji Kohan, has long maintained that Nancy is fundamentally, "Nancy," who like most people, lives her life running in circles, never changing very much. That then may be a big clue about Weed's eighth and final season: it came in quite literally with a bang as Nancy took a slug to the hairline. So, will Weeds ultimately end up neither 'here' nor really 'there'--no big epiphanies, just another day in the life of Nancy Botwin? Kohan maintains things won't change much for Nance on her current and most likely permanent trajectory of being attracted to dangerous situations and getting bored & restless and moving on with her life.
However and wherever the Botwins 'end up' they are highly adaptive with Nancy usually leading the charge so I would expect to end at least in good part on that sort of business-as-usual note, despite the could-have-been life-altering shooting, but instead was more of a chance to 'revisit the good old days'-ending.

Bruce Springsteen and 20 year-old daughter Jessica, in concert in Paris - July 2012
"The Boss" has a sweet father daughter moment during a concert in Paris. Watch it.
Springsteen repeats his "Dancing in the Dark" end-of-song, pluck the girl out of the audience & dance with her routine with his 20 year-old daughter Jessica, at a concert tin Paris.
Guess that's the risk you take when you attend your rock-legend-American icon father's concert. There's certainly worse songs to have to dance to.
The Boss is famous for bringing fans up on stage for his iconic hit song Dancing in the Dark.
But thousands of fans in Paris got a special treat on Thursday night when the esteemed rocker pulled his 20-year-old daughter Jessica from the audience to share a dance with her 62-year-old Dad.
And while some daughters might find it embarrassing to dance with their father in front of 10,000 people, Jessica looked to be having a ball.
The second of Springsteen's three children, Jessica smiled and laughed when her famous Dad pulled her onstage before screaming fans at the Palais Omnisports Bercy arena in Paris.
Mary-Louise Parker as Nancy Botwin in Weeds - Season 8 (Showtime)
As promised, it appears as if our Miss Nancy (Mary-Louise Parker) is well on the road to recovery when we meet up with her in Weeds Season 8, Episode 2, 'A Beam Of Sunshine'. According to showrunner Jenji Kohan, it is a few months into Nancy's recovery & rehab, though she is pictured with a walker which IMO, gives us a pretty realistic gauge of how close she came to the end of her life. It sure is great to see her smiling! Something tells me that Nancy's life, on the most personal level--her psyche--has undergone possibly the biggest change in the seven-plus seasons we've been watching Weeds. Can't wait to find out!
I'm including some harrowing photo-stills via Showtime from episode one just after the episode 2 and 3 synopses and after the jump (scroll down and click them to enlarge).
I also have a total of six brand new photo stills for episode 2 (with the credits attached to each). Enjoy!

The 49-page spoiler-filled Dark Knight Rises document (link below to Deadline pdf)
Update 7.6.12: Forty-nine pages of The Dark Knight Rises production notes released!
The Dark Knight Rises marketing team inexplicably released 49 pages of production notes, dialogue and synopses to the public yesterday. (I blame the Comic-Con crazy media blizzard, OK not really but there had to be some reason.)
In it, they spell out the key plot points of the film, all the way up to detailing its finale.
Are you brave or curious enough to crack this PDF open?
Thanks to the folks at Deadline, we know this much about the bountiful The Dark Knight Rises spoilery extravaganza:
1. There are interviews with all the main actors included.
2. There are dialogue excerpts, many that have been shown in the clips that have previously been released.
3. The ending is (sort of) revealed in the synopsis.
I read for a number of pages then got really bored with the extended descriptions of exactly what material went into everyone's costumes and how they felt about said costumes that I began skimming so if the exact ending is relvealed, I didn't see it. Maybe thats what they were thinking. Comic-Con is ripping so much attention away from everything else pop culture that this little package will be largely be ignored.
"The Dark Knight Rises" in theaters July 20. Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy.
Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar(R) winner Christian Bale ("The Fighter") again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar(R) winner Marion Cotillard ("La Vie en Rose"), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake.
Returning to the main cast, Oscar(R) winner Michael Caine ("The Cider House Rules") plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar(R) winner Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby") reprises the role of Lucius Fox.
TRUE BLOOD - Deborah Ann Woll in Episode 5.05 Sneak Peek, 'Immortal'
Here we have two sneak peeks from the upcoming episode 5.05 of TRUE BLOOD in which teen vampire 'Jessica' enthuses about the coolness about being a vampire--namely 'immortality,' to baby vamp Tara.
Meanwhile while on the hunt for Russell Edgington, Bill and Eric, who are riding in the back of Alcide's work truck, receive a call from the Authority's tech-geek vampire, 'Molly' (Tina Majorino) informing them that their lives are ticking away by the minute and that the 'i-Stakes' attached over their hearts are set to activate at dawn, rendering them both, despite being cute, to goo.

Dexter Season 7 Sneak Peek July 2 (Official) VIDEO:
The following video contains exclusive never before seen footage from the upcoming season of Dexter.
Here's the original DEXTER tease (above). Please don't hate me, just scroll down to see it slowed down to clip by clip, if you'd like. I actually thought it was sort of fun to pull all the screencaps out--like a game--and it only took 30 minutes!
By now, many DEXTER fans have been both pleasantly surprised by 'exclusive never before seen footage from the upcoming season of Dexter' and hugely frustrated or like me, amused at the 'gotcha' that the Showtime publicity department pulled by revving up the video so fast that the images go by in a blur. Of course, it didn't take any time at all either, for higher-tech types than me to SLOW. IT. DOWN. Me, I just paused and screencaped, etc. and have almost identical results which of course, I'm sharing. So what was revealed today about season 7 DEXTER? WELL, SPOILERS TO BE SURE!
Please stop right now because I'm going to reveal some of what are absolutely spoiler images from season 7 DEXTER that could ruin it for you if you wish to remain completely unspoiled. Last warning....Go!
Firstly, no surprise: Deb does not shoot or arrest Dexter. I don't know whose idea it is, but instead the siblings do this:
They set fire to the crime scene, which results in this:
So begins Dexter season 7. After that, comes many images of Dexter and Debra, both clearly struggling with this massive revelation. I'm very interested in the family flashback in which we see their mom for the first time!
That little boy sure is a ringer for Michael C. Hall!
What preceded this sad scene was this happier one:
A new puppy for Debra! But look at Harry, clearly alarmed. From what we know of Dexter's early years, he started killing small animals so letting Dexter loose on the puppy could spill his sociopathic proclivities so I'm guessing Harry put the kibosh on the new puppy. So sad!
There are almost 50 new screencaps of brand-new season 7 scenes so be sure to peruse them and see what you can identify!
Here's the slowed-down verions of the July 2 Dexter tease:
And here are the screencaps I made with a couple thrown in from the slowed version as they were clearer.
Bill licks Sookie - TRUE BLOOD season 1 episode 2 (Photo credit: HBO)
It seems that it has been eons that we've had the TV-version of 'Sookie and Bill' (Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer) but in truth, they did not go public with their relationship until they'd been in it for well over a year. Initially, they were willing to discuss just how they happened to become a couple (in sum, they met at work). Now, three years later, they've married (August, 2010) and are expecting twins this fall (2012) so I thought it would be fun to take a look back, in video, interviews and photos at the way they were:

TRUE BLOOD Episode 1.08 Sookie & Bill: 'Graveyard love scene'
Stephen Moyer Q &A's
On having an on/off screen relationship with Anna, he says,
“Our relationship obviously started at the beginning of the show. We got together because we loved being together and created the thing in the first place. So I think this might be easier because the crew has grown up with us, watching us as a couple and we feel comfortable with them. So, we are able in some ways to explore an intimacy which maybe some people aren’t able to."
Q: 'Was it love at first sight?'
A: "we both were absolutely single and we were doing this job and HBO puts us in the same hotel. We were the only two out-of-towners as everybody else lived in LA.
.. we just had some time off so we started hanging out together and literally finished the pilot, went home and felt very strange not being together suddenly. And I think we were both really surprised about that. Really nicely surprised by that."
Q: Are you comfortable with all the racy scenes? Happy with your sock?
A: I love the sock! Everyone has got a different size sock, as you can imagine.
Q: What size is yours?
A: I veer medium to extra large. No, it’s very funny, they brought in a selection of socks to try on and I don’t know whether they were doing it very sweetly, the costume department, like they brought in an extra-small one so that you feel really good. But I wasn’t the extra small which was very gratifying for me.
About True Blood's sexy scenes:
I like the fact that sex is shown in our show, I like the fact it is shown to be true. We show lustful sex, we show loving sex, and then my character does the loving and lustful sex. We’re in a society where it’s ok at 7 o’clock in the evening to see 200 terrorists gunned down by Jack Bauer [on 24], but we can’t see one female nipple unless it’s on cable network and I think that’s ridiculous.
People are scared of nipples?
They can be quite scary can’t they? Especially of the very big ones that look like dustbin lids. But I’m very proud of our show, and that our show embraces it. It’s not a problem for me at all.
Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer of TRUE BLOOD
Anna Paquin interview Q & A's
Q: How’s life as a blonde?
A: It’s very high maintenance.
Q: It must be...
A: Yeah it turns out my hair grows really fast and I have really dark hair naturally so, you know, this even the tiniest bit of roots, not okay. But now that we’re wrapped it’s okay because I’m not suppose to look like a natural blonde but not really a fan for sitting still for the hairdresser once every ten days for a couple hours. Makes me feel really vain and nutty.
...people stare at blonde girls. It’s funny. It’s bright and shiny and it catches the light. Like a magpie. - ANNA
Q: How is it working with your fiancé Stephen Moyer?
A: He’s great. He’s really talented, and so is every other member of our cast and crew and writing staff and directors I mean, we have, we have such an amazing group of people and it’s a real treat.
Q: Did you have any worries about doing the raunchy material?
A: I’ve done plenty of not particularly child-friendly work when I was less age-appropriate to do it. So maybe I’ve just never had conservative taste.
Q: We keep hearing about the sock (to cover the male actors nudity)...
A: “I think they started calling it ‘the sock of destiny’ last season, I’m not entirely sure, I think that might have been a Ryan Kwanten coinage cause he was in little else for most of that season and if I’m not very much mistaken, I think he gave socks to all of the boys on the crew as a wrap gift...
But girls don’t have the sock. Girls have the patch.
Q: The patch, is that glued?
A: No! (laughs) It’ s topstick, double-sided toupee tape.. .glue would be messy and awkward. Topstick is also awkward but less messy.
Yeah a "modesty patch," or just "the patch" or "the sock."
I think they started calling it ‘the sock of destiny’ last season...I think that might have been a Ryan Kwanten coinage cause he was in little else for most of that season...

TRUE BLOOD Episode #52 (July 1) RECAP:
Can someone please tell me where the heck TRUE BLOOD season 5 is going?
Episode #52 opened more story-lines up while others are being rendered seemingly pointless:
Debbie Pelt's parents served to give Alcide (Joe Manganiello) more screen time and to give him an excuse to see Sookie (Anna Paquin) repeatedly...and then blammo! Jessica (Deborah-Ann Woll) mindwipes Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer) who was 'on the case', as they say, and Alcide tells the Pelts that the now-dead packmaster killed Debbie and tah-dah! --Sookie's Debbie problem goes away.
Sam (Sam Trammell) & Luna's (Janina Gavankar) shifter friends from last season show up wanting to 'go for a run,' having gone to Luna first and having her refuse them, they 'pick' Sam. Sam shows up at the appointed place to find both shifters with bullet holes in their heads. It was made clear that Sam had no contact with them whatsoever prior so the immediate suspicion of wolf-pack intimidation makes no sense whatsoever...
Nora (Lucy Griffiths) rats out the child Authority chancellor vampire and Roman (Chris Meloni) makes a speech about the pretty stake-in-a-box with it's point made from Judas's melted-down silver coins. Then Roman stakes the kid--though they showed none of the kill. True Blood won't stake a kid vamp on HBO? Russell Edgington would consider that pretty spineless though I'm sure there will be no one mourning the loss of that snarky little fanger. Frankly, I'm finding the lot of the Authority tedious and that includes Meloni.
Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) is still turning into the blue demon every time he gets really angry; this time he cursed Sookie's car (will this be a final goodbye to the '81 Honda?) causing it to accelerate coupled with brake failure. Sookie bailed when it was going 60 mph and escaped unscathed(!)
Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) are still at the mercy of the Authority though they are (for now) set free to pursue Russell. They end up staring in Sookie's window, where a drunk Sookie is on the sofa making out with Alcide. It appears that they are about to engage in some faery/telepath-werewolf interruptus.
Pam and Tara (Rutina Wesley) bonded after Pam retrieved Tara from self-immoliation by tanning bed. Kristen Bauer van Straten as Pam is still the most compelling reason to keep watching season 5.
Because he believes he's going to meet the true death, Eric made up with Pam and then released her.
Bill believes he 'did well' with Jessica though he did not reveal to her that he too, will probably meet the true death.
Terry (Todd Lowe) and Patrick (Scott Foley) found their former military buddy in a hideout underground; he appears to be more batshit than even Terry due to their shared traumatic war experience.
I have no idea why but Jason (Ryan Kwanten) and Andy were blindfolded and willingly accompanied a bunch of faeries and that geriatric judge with questionable ethics to a faeryland nightclub complete with circus-like performances. The judge claimed he went there every weekend. Andy and Jason were none the wiser and things seemed to be rolling right along until Sookie & Jason's cousin Hadley, who has taken refuge in faeryland, saw Jason and begged him to bring Sookie there for her safety. There was a kerfuffle and Jason and Andy were booted out, where they landed in the field where Jessica chased Claude the faery, the guy that smelled really delicious in the previous episode, and both promptly got zapped by the bouncers, presumably to mindwipe them.

Mary-Louise Parker as Nancy Botwin In WEEDS episode 8.01 (Credit: Showtime)
Episode 8.01'Messy' - Synopsis: Nancy is rushed to the hospital after being shot as the family follows close behind. There, they grapple with the tragedy (and in Doug's case, with some other 'things') and hypothesize on the shooter's identity.
SHOWTIME:'With The Creators 'VIDEO:
Very intriguing video interview with Weeds' creator Jenji Kohan about the broad strokes of what we'll see in season 8, the final season of WEEDS.
Kohan talks about how both the audience and the writers were getting frustrated with Nancy's (Mary-Louise Parker) always escaping from her misdeeds 'scot-free' and that it was almost "MacGuyver-esque" and therefore the character was in danger of not seeming genuine. Kohan goes on to explain why they chose the shooter out of a 'long list' of contenders. Kohan added that the story will circle back in some ways to season one (but we all know you can't ever truly go back, right?). Finally, she explains how episode 1 sets up season 8 to include the big question (IMO): What kind of person will the head-shot Nancy be as she recovers? Kohan also mentions the Botwin boys' very different life pursuits (currently, Shane is in the police academy and Silas is growing and selling weed) and finally, does God exist?
Also, something else to look forward to that Kohan didn't mention: Jennifer Jason Leigh (who I adore) as Nancy's sister Jill, will be making frequent appearances. Sounds like there is plenty of material to cover this last season! I'm hoping too that the rabbi who makes an appearance in this episode returns as well as a love interest for Nancy. (That may or may not have been 'set-up' in this episode.)
