When Frank’s not at the bar spending what little money they have, he’s passed out on the floor. But the kids have found ways to grow up in spite of him. They may not be like any family you know, but they make no apologies for being exactly who they are.

I think Shameless looks very, very promising. The show, which took seed in a long-running counterpart/inspiration in the U.K., has a great group of characters. William H. Macy, who stars with actor/singer Emmy Rossum, has does everything from ER to the Coen brothers fantastic film"Fargo," to acclaimed stagework and a lot more. Now he tackles "Shameless, premiering Sunday, January 9th at 10pm ET/PT.
He seems a perfect chice for dad Frank!
Frank's kids in Shameless are quite a group and I've capped them so you can take a better look as well as a couple of scenes involving them and/or Frank.
