Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin tell Access Hollywood Shaun Robinson their most memorable moment from their wedding.
Actually, Anna & Stephen graciously duck the question about a "memorable moment" and allude to a "15-minute" interlude of alone time at the wedding (or reception?).
Anyway, Anna is positively giddy having only been wed for about a week and Stephen is his normal witty and slightly bawdy self. Might be the best interview I've seen them give despite the not-really-the-greatest interviewer.
TV Guide interview Alexander Skarsgård at the Emmys.
Alex interviews that he is jet-lagged from just getting in from a film shoot in Europe. Shooting on True Blood Season 4 starts in late November and he states he knows nothing about next season. Worth watching to get a long look at the gorgeous ASkars.
This was my favourite scene from True Blood's episode 11, "Fresh Blood."
Sookie's curiosity and worry about Eric saying his final goodbyes to her compels her to go to Fangtasia where inspired by Pam to "use her" (Sookie) in trying to defeat Russell Edgington, Eric chains Sookie in his dungeon whilst he fetches Russell in order to offer Edgington the opportunity he cannot turn down--to be able to "walk in the light."
Bill senses Sookie's distress and storms into Fangtasia, finding Pam alone. He demands to see Sookie, Pam tries to stall him, mostly by belittling his affections for Sookie, calling him an "infatuated tween." Bill loses patience after reminding Pam that he is older and stronger and will defeat her if she attempts to thwart him any longer. A fight ensues. Meanwhile in the dungeon, Sookie "hears" the voice of a woman of a foreign language. She's taken aback that Yvetta has come to rescue her. Spurned by Eric, Yvetta is about to take her leave of Fangtasia. With Sookie unshackled, the two women rush upstairs as the sounds of fierce struggling continue.
Sookie and Yvetta discover Pam astride Bill, squirting what turns out to be silver water in his eyes which blinds him temporarily. Sookie, who had the foresight to grab one of the dungeon's selection of silver chains before ascending the stairs comes up behind and casts the thick chain around Pam's neck and pulls tightly, effectively defeating her.
Later, Ginger is shown freeing Pam from the additional chain(s) that Yvetta secured Pam with--chains bound very tightly and that dug deeply into Pam's cold flesh.
After telephoning Eric to apprise him of what occurred, briefly interrupting his tête-à-tête with Russell, Pam is finally fully unbound by the feckless, over-glamoured Ginger. She inquires of Pam if there's anything she can get her to make her feel better. Pam responds with "a drink" as she grabs hold of Ginger and sinks her fangs into the screaming waitress.

This is a raw video. It's Kristen of E! interviewing Mariana Klaveno (Lorena) and Carrie Preston (Arlene) as well as lots of Joe Manganiello (Alcide) being photographed alone and with Rutina Wesley. There is also video of Steve & Anna though no interview.<sad face>
Here's a pic (they did no interviews) from the same event of the newly-married Mr. and Mrs. Anna Paquin. Kidding!
[caption id="attachment_9255" align="alignright" width="285" caption="Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer attend the pre-Emmy party (Jason Merritt/Getty Images)"][/caption]
*By now I'm pretty sure you know how Kristen defines "scoop"--anything that will get you to read what she /her staff have written which is OK-- she seems to love True Blood.
"I am happy with the way [the finale] sets up for next season. I think [the fans] will be pleased at what they find out about Lafayette. There is something to be found out in the finale about LaLa," he says mysteriously. (Nelsan Ellis about his character known affectionately as "LaLa.")
Shape shifter Marshall Allman (Sam's little brother) is also bursting with giddiness over the season finale. "[It's] very shocking on every front. I think they did an excellent job of the cliffhanger this year for my character, for Anna's character, and for Alex's character, too," he reveal(ed).
Sam Trammell--so adorable--so witty--love him bunches! Little bit of talk in his Kristen interchange about how he feels about TB season 4 & a lot of playful bantering--worth a watch!
Kristen again w/Alexander Skarsgård who speaks briefly about "just flying in" from Sweden and being jet-lagged--thus needing to get inside to the party and have a beer (ha ha). He tells nothing of the season 3 finale BUT he does smile a lot--something we don't see much of on the show and that itself is worth a look:
So. Has Sam blown a gasket or something? I keep thinking that now, near the end of season 3, everyone on this show has been traumatized and the events are just coming one after the other. "Snapping" would seem to be a reasonable expectation of the fallout from the serial killer-co-worker and maenad Maryann--plus all the "other stuff" in the last 2 months of the show's time frame.
Poor Sam. His early life seems about as bad as it has gotten so far one the show. Maybe Crystal, the "daughter of a meth dealer" promised at age four to her half brother as a future wife <ick>. Then there's Sam's bro Tommy who no doubt has had a rough go of it but he's hard to feel sorry for, little wanna be badass tht he is.
From E! (Kristen) See below some of the "the stuff" Denis refers to that he had to be clad in for episodes 11 & 12 (I'm thinking mostly 12).

I think too that Denis may have been at some point clad in a getup similar to the one Alexander Skarsgård is in the photo below. Looks like you can basically stand around in it and not much else.

True Blood Season 3 -11 & 12 - 'Fresh Blood' & Finale
"In episode 12, the final episode," Denis teases, "I was encumbered with a lot of stuff, and it made the shooting process incredibly difficult. I had to do a lot of physical stunts. I love doing my own stunts, [but] it was a lot more than I thought I would do. And then I had a lot of makeup. The make-up was heavy-duty, two and a half hours in, two and a half hours out."....
..... "Sookie gets mean and hurts me very deeply. Eric gets mean and hurts me very deeply. And even Pam gets a little mean to me, although she's nice at one point, and hurts me very deeply. And I weep for joy at one point."....
... "I think Russell's going to end up in a place where he didn't expect.."

It's a misnomer to label this video "Behind the Scenes." I would rename it "Cast Interviews (about the show) and Sneak Peeks" because that's what it is.
It contains opinions from most of the lead cast about Dexter the man and the show in season 5 and how one can expect both a clean slate and a kind of "re-boot" of the Dexter we've watched for the past four seasons.
The clip also contains short peeks of the actual Season 5 show. I've screen shot a couple. I do believe they were going for "tormented and brooding" as the adjectives to describe the atmosphere of the sneak peek components of the vid.

Silas accepts an offer he can't refuse from an odd hotel guest.
"Let's just focus on the less." --Creepy middle-aged hotel guy to Silas, who is a bellboy.
Season 6 Ep.
Episode 3: A Yippity Sippity
In an effort to make money and stay 'under the radar', Nancy, Andy, and Silas acquire scab laborer jobs at an upscale Seattle hotel. Meanwhile, Shane is left to care for baby Stevie. Back at Ren Mar, Doug finds unexpected guests.
Sneak Peek "Trimmings"
Weeds: Season 6, Episode 3 'You Get What You Pay For' Linda Hamilton begin a story arc as a plains-spoken "personal use" weed vendor. This is a scene with Hamilton & world-class charmer Nancy.
Jenji Kohan talks about kicking off season six, the Botwin family dynamic and Andy's love for Nancy.
Season Six Weeds is off to a good start; Again Nancy and kin are fleeing--this time because youngest son Shane took a croquet mallet to "Pilar's" noggin' shortly after he'd been shot by one of her guys aiming at Nancy and after Pilar, a politically powerful, ruthless Mexican beotch who just happened to have a history with Nancy's new spouse mused how easy it would bet to take out both Shane and Silas "in an accident." Nancy barely got in a retort before Shane swung, killing Pilar by the pool with a croquet mallet (lol).
Weeds airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on Showtime.
Previously on Season 6 Weeds:
Season 6, Episode 2: 'Felling and Swamping'
After hours of aimless driving, Nancy, ignoring Shane's suggestion of hiding out in Pittsburgh, hatches a plan for the family to cross into Canada. Andy is tasked with acquiring fake IDs. Silas must decide if he's willing to live on the lam. Elsewhere, Esteban must answer to authorities regarding Pilar's murder and Nancy's whereabouts.
Season 6, Episode 1: 'Thwack' Faced with the aftermath of Shane having murdered Pilar, Nancy grabs Shane and Silas and they flee the scene. Andy is then met with the decision to split town with his family or stay and fight for Audra's affection.
Don't impale me for this slightly- educated guess: I (think I) read her name as "Ravenscroft " in the So. Gothic Mystery book series by Charlaine Harris.
But.
She has been "Just Pam" (as she insisted in a recent Babyvamp Jessica vlog appearance) on True Blood until now, I'm pretty sure.
Regardless, I'm really enjoying Kristen Bauer van Straten's work in True Blood this season. I hope we see at least as much of her next season as well.
It's cool to see the progeny-maker side of her and Eric's relationship. Knowing how far Eric would've gone to stop Godric from "meeting the dawn" or "the true death" we can guess that Pam would breach many boundaries to save Eric (including earlier in Season 3 literally her own skin in the hands of the Magister) so it's within possibility that Pam will be taking some drastic measures in the last two episodes of True Blood season 3.
Bring it on!, right?

True Blood costars Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin got married on Saturday evening in Malibu “surrounded by their family and friends,” a rep for the couple confirmed. According to Us Weekly, which first reported the wedding, guests included True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten, Sam Trammell, Alan Ball, Rutina Wesley, Carrie Preston & spouse Michael Emerson, as well as Elijah Wood (who costars with Paquin in the upcoming film The Romantics).
The couple's non-denominational ceremony included Apache, Buddhist and other elements...
Stephen walked down the aisle to Led Zeppelin's "Cashmere."
The couple's co-workers also lent their skills when it came to the music. The show's music director lead a string quartet during the ceremony and co-star Todd Lowe (Terry Bellefleur) brought his band, Pilbilly Knights, to play at the reception.
Anna wore a Marilyn Monroe white halter-neck 3/4 length gown and Neil Lane jewelery with her hair swept up and black platform heels, while groom Stephen wore a dark suit and tie as they exchanged vows beneath a tent at a private residence, described as a "lot" across the street from the beach in Malibu.
The Neil Lane necklace Anna Paquin wore when she married her True Blood costar Stephen Moyer on Saturday night, her wedding jewelry was...glam.
“She wanted something with a vintage-inspired, romantic vibe,” says celebrity jeweler Neil Lane, who provided Paquin with a stunning necklace–complete with a whopping 50 carats of round diamonds!–set in darkened metal for a patina vintage style. To balance out the dramatic look, Paquin, 28, wore a white halterneck gown and donned an elegant pair of diamond studs, also from Lane. The other lucky recipient of the jeweler’s sparkly bling? Paquin’s mom, who opted for a bracelet and earrings. The couple solidified their union with platinum wedding bands, designed by Cathy Waterman. –Elizabeth Leonard/people.com
The bridal party then crossed the road to a beach house for the reception which was held was held across the street from the private residence where the two exchanged vows in front of costars Ryan Kwanten, Rutina Wesley, Sam Trammell and Carrie Preston and TB boss, Alan Ball, among others.
The couple, who began filming True Blood with the pilot episode of the deliciously twisted vampire drama in 2007 - were surrounded by family and friends as they said their vows.
Anna's brother-in-law Russel Norman - who is married to the actress' sister Katya - revealed "there were constant helicopters" during the service, adding to the New Zealand Herald "It was really, really beautiful, actually. It was great. Somehow they've managed to stay real in the middle of this unreal world. It was quite sweet."
After the ceremony, the actor and some of his friends/family changed into swimsuits and took a dip in the Pacific Ocean, as seen in photograph by Pacific Coast News. In more photos from the ceremony taken by the paparazzi some in helicopters, the bride remained dry in her gown, but watched her new groom and friends celebrate in the Pacific.
Moyer proposed to Canadian-born, New Zealand-raised Paquin on a Hawaiian beach, presenting her with a ring -- a rustic diamond set in an antiqued platinum inset which he helped design with jeweler Cathy Waterman. both of the couple wedding rings were also designed by Cathy Waterman.
Anna and Steve announced their engagement last August. In the oft-told story of "how they met" they interviewed that they got to know each other over daily breakfasts at a West-Hollywood cafe when they were still new to town and being put up by True Blood in a hotel. They began dating a few months after filming first began in 2008 for HBO's smash vampire series, now in its third season. On the show, Paquin (a 1994 Oscar-winner at age 11 for her role in The Piano) plays Sookie Stackhouse, the psychic, mortal lover to vampire Bill Compton (Moyer); their first kiss occurred onscreen.
These days, Moyer splits his time between his native London where his two children from previous relationships reside, and the Venice, Calif. home he shares with Paquin.
In more "True Blood" news, on Monday it was announced that Stephen and Anna, along with their co-star Alexander Skarsgård, would be presenters at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards this Sunday August 29, airing live on NBC at 5 PM.

Dexter's carefully constructed world has been
turned upside down. Will he be able to pick up all the pieces? Dexter
returns September 26th.
I saw this preview live which is very unusual for me as I watch very little television *live.* However I wanted to watch 2 other Showtime shows back-to-back to see if I'd want to watch them--both half-hour comedies that way every week.
I was pleasantly surprised to see this promo as besides True Blood, Dexter is my favourite TV program. I'm really looking forward to its return, having left off on such an incredibly life-altering (sorry, Rita) note.
Despite all the Sturm und Drang in the comment sections of any fan-based source of Dexter info (including YouTube) I am totally happy with the season 4 ending. Dexter can never be a cheery family man because he is a serial killer and there would be no show.
The distinct foreshadowing of this fact in Season 4 was when Dexter first met Trinity and observed that Trinity had a happy, functional family--on the surface. Below, there was hideousness and despite Dexter's ability to be brutally violent, I have great doubts that Dexter ever could stoop as low as Trinity in regard to his family.
So this season should be very interesting. As the promo suggests, Dexter has a huge mess to attend to--will he have time for his nighttime proclivities? I'm pretty sure he'll figure something out though it may take a few stabs at it before it feels right--or as "right" as Dexter has the capacity to feel.
Rev. Newlin's return (ack!) provokes Jessica to finally lose her patience and go face-to-face, baring fangs at Arlene.
"I don't like narrow-minded skinny bitches with bad dye jobs..." --Jessica to Arlene after Arlene sanctimoniously states that it was "only a matter of time before one of y'all got caught on film."
"I hope you rot in Hell, you psycho piece of shit!" --Tara as she "disposes of" to Franklin Mott's messy remains.
In the immediate moments after Jason successfully shoots a wooden bullet into Franklin Mott's heart as Franklin strangled Tara, Tara instructs Jason to get rid of Franklin's clothes while she engages in some cathartic moments as she covers up Franklin's gory remains.
Is it just me or is Tara beginning to seem like an interesting character? I'm loving Rutina's portrayal of her this season.
True Blood 3x10 Sneak Peek - Eric and Pam Clip.
HBO Owns everything.
Great scene!
Eric said Pam's last name when he bequeathed her all his estate but I can't understand what he said! I think the writers did so on purpose, too. Unless someone figures it out, am going to need closed captioning for it.
Anyone?
As far as I know Pam's last name has never been mentioned on True Blood.
Though this season of True Blood still has three episodes to go, I’ve already got scoopage on the next one: Long story short, it might as well be titled “Season of the Witch”!
Series creator Alan Ball reveals that he’ll be introducing Hallow Stonebrook, the were-sorceress from Charlaine Harris’ fourth Sookie novel, Dead to the World. Preferring to refer to the character as anecromancer, the boss man says she’s “actually a medium. She communicates with the dead, and she’s interested in developing further powers.”
In the book, Hallow casts a spell on Eric... she’s described as a tall, trim brunette.

Just had a convo with my now-almost 18 y.o. son about Harry Potter (the franchise). As I mentioned previously, he had to age into the books which were first issued when he was nine years-old, before he began the series. I'd heard at the time that they were more appropriate for age 12-and-up, not that he expressed desire to read them then.
He started reading and re-reading them at about age 11 and the films starting being released then, too. We've seen all the films so far at the theatre (also, hard to avoid if you have pay cable TV) and I've read most of the books. (I think it was "Azkaban" that I simply couldn't plow through--liked the film tho'.)
Even though she created an interesting universe with intriguing characters I was never particularly impressed with Joanne Rowling's writing chops but, not wanting to discourage my kid's reading endeavor didn't say so at the time. Seems now my son holds the same opinion. He's read hundreds of books over his 17 years, maybe 1000 or more, so I think he's qualified to espouse that opinion.
Though only fractionally the reader of my son, I'm sort of picky about book details and he is, too. Part of our convo involved Rowling's retconning in regard to the Horcruxes, which are prominent in the last two Harry Potter films. Retconning--to change details of something already published to make them fit with what you are now writing--is annoying. Another bit that is a puzzle to me that the animals that the kids kept close had no special connection to them beyond being pets. They were notfamiliars, they were simply pets. My son cited the fact that the pets had free will with the example of when Harry mistreated Hedwig and Hedwig took off for a period before giving Harry a chance to feel better about driving him away. A familiar couldn't/wouldn't do so.
Just the same, we are definitely seeing the films. The supporting characters, almost all British, have been fantastic over the years and I expect they'll be no less so in both parts of "The Deathly Hallows."

I've been reading Rolling Stone since I was 14 and subscribing since age 16. That's oh, let's say about for about 30 years.
Suffice to say that this is the most excited I've been about a Rolling Stone cover and it's accompanying interview (with freakin"Alan Ball(!) since David Cassidy posed on the cover of Rolling Stone in his altogether when I was 12 years old.
With the hues and cries of "too much blood" in season 3's True Blood here are our heroes' (literally) cheeky reply.
This is gonna sound snooty, but I've actually been hoping that the gore--which hello! is funny in it's over the top-ness--would turn the "jump-on the bandwagon"- types off the show. And it is--with some at least.
Today, while fishing for True Blood news I saw a comment--someone actually wrote that "True Blood would be so much more popular without the gore." LOL. Might as well take out the sex, too. But no one is complaining about too much sex. Isn't that interesting?!
I love you Rolling Stone for the much-anticipated Alan Ball interview and for putting some of his pretty people/main characters/terrific actors on the cover!
The following is an excerpt of an article from the September 2, 2010 issue of Rolling Stone. This issue is available tomorrow on newsstands.
"I've had 10 piercings in my ear, and a bellybutton pierce (sic), and a tongue ring. My tongue, as it turns out, is not really appropriate for piercing, because the webbing is too close to the font, and the bottom barbell kept hitting against my teeth... and it gave me a lisp, which isn't great as an actress." ANNA PAQUIN on her history of piercings.
The idea of celibate vampires is ridiculous, True Blood creator Alan Ball says. "To me, vampires are sex," he says. "I don't get a vampire story about abstinence. I'm 53. I don't care about high school students. I find them irritating and uninformed." On his show, every available orifice is used for intercourse: gay, straight, between humans and supernatural beings, and supernatural being on supernatural being, whether he be werewolf, dog or an enormous Minotaur-looking being called a maenad. None of the sex is quite as good as vampire sex, though, which can happen at the astonishing rhythm of 120 bpm while simultaneously devouring one's neck and making your eyes roll back into your head. Says Stephen Moyer — who plays Bill Compton, the undead Southern Civil War Veteran — "If we go from a base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn't one before. It's a de-virginization — breaking the hymen, creating blood and then drinking the virginal blood. And there's something sharp, the fang, which is probing and penetrating and moving into it. So that's pretty sexy. I think that makes vampires attractive." He laughs a little. "Plus, Robert Pattinson is just hot, right?"
Keeping in mind that there are some great supporting actors on True Blood we have a few bits from Kristen which in a style typical of bits from Kristen don't tell you a whole lot (but they are served up with such verve!) In re: Carrie Preston's Arlene: Carrie Preston w/Michael Emerson credit: FilmMagic Inc/FilmMagic
Keep your eyes on Arlene (Carrie Preston). According to her real-life hubby Michael Emerson, he's "glad she's able to be the one human story this season so far, because there needs to be a human element." But he warns us ominously: "She's going to have some superhuman challenges coming up."
In re: Joe Manganiello: 's Alcide: "you get to seen him scantily clad in an upcoming ep of True Blood…" Good to know he'll be back before season's end. As a shifter however, scantily clad is a normal condition. Finally, Carrie Preston's spouse, Michael Emerson, again talks about someday (next season perhaps?) having a part in True Blood written in for him by Alan Ball. As Emerson puts it, "Whenever I see Alan Ball he says, 'I must write something for you,' and I say, 'I'll be there in a heartbeat.' So we have an understanding and liking of one another. I certainly think he's a fantastic talent and maybe they'll find some little tidbit for me next season."

If you type "Laura Linney" in your search engine of choice, the number one auto-fill (as in Laura Linney "what") will be "Laura Linney nude." Was this always so? Maybe. But I cannot help but be curious if Linney's new-found exposure as the star of Showtime's "The Big C," has something to do with it. I guess yes! ;)
One nude scene of Linney in "The Life of David Gale" has her nude as a torture victim. Totally disturbing and in no way sexy. The other nude scene from "Maze" (2000) is embedded here.
Other than getting a good look at a naked Ms. Linney there is nothing sexy about the scene, which in fact is a comedy scene.
Honestly, she's most beautiful with some clothes on. She cleans up very, very well so photos including a poster-sized one of Laura Linney fully clothed are included here, too.
The extraordinary Laura Linney stars in the
smart, funny and surprisingly different new Showtime Original Series THE
BIG C. Cathy Jamison has always played by the rules. That is, until she
finds out she's got cancer. But instead of giving up - Cathy's decided
to live it up. From here on out, she'll say and do exactly what she
wants, when she wants. New episodes Mondays at 10:30pm ET/PT beginning August 16th, only on SHOWTIME.
Oh, to address my rhetorical question in the subject line. This is 'who'Laura Linney is(imdb).
People want to see her naked because they are curious about this woman who is being heavily marketed to premium cable viewers right now. Linney's show starts tonight, Monday at 9:30 Central on Showtime.
Mary Louise Parker as "Nancy Botwin" on Showtime's "Weeds"
Seems it is the season of "the Croquet Mallet" on the upcoming Season 6 Weeds.
Just when you thought Nancy and the kids' lives could not be more eff'ed after Shane got winged in the arm by a bullet meant for his mother, Nancy.
It's really hard not to judge Nancy's horribly bad choices in regard to her family and her life in general (dealing, running weapons, assorted other stuff) but she certainly has tought them tenacity and self-reliance. <sigh>
Still, Mary Louise Parker is winning as the ever-losing Nancy Botwin-- widow, mother, outlaw and she has a great cast that help keep Nancy in the game, so to speak. I need to do a little pictorial of her soon.
Q:So excited for Weeds to come back! I'll give you a high five if you give me the lowdown on the season premiere.
A: The star of the first episode back is, undisputedly, the croquet mallet. Whether it's being clutched by Shane as he explains his murder style to his bro Silas or being used by Nancy in other acts of vandalism...you must remember, this is not just "a stick". It is evidence, and the final scene of the episode (starring the mallet!) eerily marks the beginning of a long road of running for the Botwins.

Dexter Season Five Teaser
Last year he had his world torn apart, this season he'll have more than blood on his hands. Dexter returns on September 26th.
True Blood - Sneak Peek (8.12) - Sookie & Bill: 3x09 'Everything is Broken' Sookie to Bill, "Just once, I'd like to not find a dead body in my house" (like a "normal couple.") Bill jokingly suggests watching television instead of what they do. He implies that Sookie couldn't enjoy a sedate lifestyle. Click to my site - http://thetruebloodblog.com for the Sneak Peek (8.12) video. Anna Paquin as Sookie looks adorable in this scene as she steers the conversation whilst she and Bill clear her house of the night before's mayhem, in this case the were corpse with the ripped-out throat.

Bill Releases Jessica - Bill & Jessica train/confide (video)
Both Stephen Moyer as Vampire Bill and Deborah Ann Woll (jessica) did wonderful, nunaced scenes that were so believable, especially within the context of their relatiosnship (Bill was made by the Magister To 'make' Jessica at the end of season 1).

As promised, there was a great deal of blood and sex in episode 8. There were more name-brand deaths in episode 3x08 as well: Talbot the vampire king Russell's husband, was staked by Eric, and Gus, the last of the 'Fuck You [Were] Crew,' was drained by Jessica after he broke into Sookie's house.Bill took out a nameless Crew wolf, too.
Finally, we got a (30-second) love scene with Sookie & Bill having makeup sex or breakup-to-makeup sex, I guess more accurately.
Eric, in the most chaste love scene I think ever on True Blood, got it on w/Talbot or so Talbot's facial expressions would have one believe, almost right until Eric's ultimate vampire "fuck you"--staking him.
After escaping Russell's clutches via Bill's denigrating the King of Mississippi as either a "coward or just lazy," Jessica dined on the last of the "Fuck You Crew," 'Gus.' She ate with great passion.
''Franklin's brains won't wash off the guest linens, I had to bury werewolves under the gazebo, and that Sookie bitch staked Lorena. I've had enough excitement, thank you.''. --Talbot to Russell upon Russell's return home from marrying Sophie-Anne and beheading the Magister.
SPOILER!!!
Franklin's brains, for better or worse, will have grown back by next week.
True Blood - Episode 3x09 'Everything is Broken' Franklin Mott (James Frain) & Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley).
Awesome vampire training scene!

"Jessica" (Deborah Ann Woll) is a favourite on HBO's True Blood. Originally abducted by vampires near the end of Season 1, Jessica was sired by Bill by order of the Magister for Bill's killing of Fangtasia vampire bartender Longshadow in defense of Sookie. Jessica was just 17 y.o. at the time of her death and subsequent turning. She was & still is very much an inexperienced teen, mostly due to extreme parental over-protection. In S3 thus far we've had very little interaction between Jessica and her maker due to his confinement by the King of Mississippi. "Baby Vamp" Jessica has been fending for herself and not doing a great job of it. Before turning to Pam(!) for advice she accidentally drains and kills a man because she did not know how to stop feeding in time. As of this episode S3xE08, "Night On The Sun," to Jessica's great relief, Bill has returned home.
She's unprepared for his announcement upon his return, however. Watch the scene (above) as well as their next scene together--one with a very different vibe to it.
The screen caps illustrate to me why Deborah Ann Woll is so popular as Jessica. She completely inhabits her frustratingly endearing character.
FOR AIRDATE AUGUST 15TH 2010:
Nan Flanagan goes to Fangtasia for answers about the Magister's whereabouts. Bill gets to the bottom of Sookie's real identity. Jason finds an unlikely ally in his feud with Felton and Calvin. Arlene has a pessimistic view of her husband.

True Blood 3x08 - Tommy and Hoyt Sneak Peek.
All rights reserved by HBO.
Something tells me that Tommy "Merlotte" didn't stay alive in the dogfight ring by fighting fair. I doubt he'd do so with Hoyt, either. You know--the bigger they are, the harder they fall? I smell a sucker punch before they take this "shit outside."
Aw. Joe Manganiello as Alcide is just sooo adorable. How could Sookie not go for such a gorgeous fuzzy BIG bear? I think both Eric and Bill are going to be frozen out for the remainder of Season 3 and that is just fine with me as we discover that Alcide is not quite the perfect guy (for Sookie), either.
SPOILER!
I think maybe taking the book route as it relates to Sookie's (self-defense) killing of Debbie Pelt would work well in the show. (I hope I remember correctly--so much killing in both the books and the show!) Sookie didn't want to talk about the attack by Debbie as Alcide is still in love with Debbie. When Alcide finally learns of Sookies killing of Debbie (which happens either in this episode or down the line but it does happen) he just can't get over it enough to go forward with Sookie. Later, when he finally can, he has too many family issues on his hands and Sookie realizes it's simply another guy with a lot of baggage she ping-pongs back to Eric or Bill or idk, another guy.
It's sometimes more fun and informative to hear from the writers of a show about the show's direction then from the actors.
Producer Sara Colleton spoke to Dexter having a "definitive end" in answer to the question of how and when there might be one. At least as far as the serial killing goes she said "that will never happen." After Rita's murder Dexter can never let go of his dark passenger by referencing how close he got to a taste of normality only to have it snatched away. Explaining further, she spoke of how in the last eppy of last season as Dexter disposed of Trinity's body he mused that it was time to embrace his family and he hoped that "someday soon" he'd be rid of the dark passenger. She says he was at the "most optimistic point" in his life about ridding himself of his dark passenger only to discover his murdered wife and infant son in a pool of her blood, shattering that notion completely.

Cathy gives her student Andrea advice about changing her attitude.
Well 'ya but she tells "Andrea" that fat people are repulsive first. It's going to be more of a challenge to like "Cathy" if she herself is not boring as the previously released promos have had us believe, but is in fact a "skinny bitch" herself. I mean is the audience going to be rooting for Cathy's terminal illness to hurry up and reach it's conclusion?
Wow. This has to be one of the most misleading promos HBO has put out for True Blood... maybe ever.
If you saw the Comic-Con (geek convention) Second Half of True Blood Season 3 extended promo you'll see that it shoots a hole in almost every aspect of the promo for next Sunday's True Blood. I'll post it below so you can compare and contrast.
Additionally, since True Blood is an adaption--NOT a faithful recreation of the Sookie Stackhouse series we can't take anything at face value expecting it to be "like the books" which frankly I like, having read the books. Despite my love of SPOILERS I love too to be shocked and surprised--otherwise, why would I watch the show, right?

Just read a feature article on Laura Linney by James Bruni. I hadn't realized that she'd been triple nominated for an Academy Award and Emmy and twice for a Tony.
It's an eight page article but definitely worth a read if you are like me--interested in the actor behind the persona of a fictional character.
I started reading the Sunday-sized story because I was curious to hear what motivated her to take on a project like "The Big C," which premieres on Aug 16." I'd thought surely that Showtime had been enticing for reasons explained by other female stars of half-hour comedies at the premium network which include Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds), Toni Collette (The United States of Tara) and my personal fave, Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie). That turned out to be the case but there was a lot more to it including the very sad, sudden slip and fall death of Natasha Richardson last year. Liam Neeson was Richardson's husband and he'd acted with Linney in four films. Along the way Linney became close with both Richardson and Neeson. The Big C was offered to Linney just months after her friend's death and it coloured her ultimate choice of doing the show.
