Sookie joins Alcide at a raucous engagement party for his former fiancee, Debbie Pelt. Bill "procures" dinner for Russell and Lorena. Sam brokers a deal with Tommy and his parents. Andy gets a promotion and draws Jason's attention. Arlene is irked by Jessica's arrival at Merlotte's. Eric is given a deadline to locate Bill. Franklin takes Tara on a road trip.
Q: What's the deal with Sam's little brother on True Blood?
....Tommy Mickens is harmless—in the sociopath, crazy-person sorta way! Marshall Allman, aka Sam's little bro Tommy, is in it for the long haul this season, "bringing Bon Temps to its knees." "I go in and have a lot of fun," Marshall tells us. "There's not an impulse that I don't act on. I'm tons of fun. And then I'll take your wallet, [and] I'll also steal your girl." ...
Q:
Marshall tells us he'll be around well into the "shocking" season finale...but don't judge( him) too quickly. "People will see that I have a heart, but they're just going to be frustrated that I'm not being who I was meant to be," he says, "I suffered a lot of dysfunction, and I just need a lot of love." Sources have also revealed that Tommy might be working to EDIT/ I have posted a photo of Tommy at Merlotte's, wearing a black Merlotte's T-shirt/end Edit/ so Tommy will be working for Sam at Merlotte's (My guess? To repay Sam).
Q: What's coming up for Tara on True Blood?
That depends on your definition of good. Rutina Wesley tells us our ever-troubled bartender "is gonna struggle with this vampire lover named Franklin Mott. He's very psychological and very hard. So this relationship is not necessarily by choice." Probably not your definition of good, huh? One thing you don't have to worry about? Tara becoming a vamp herself. "Probably not," she says. "I love being human. It's like I'm one of the only humans on the show!"
So yeah, It appears Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows is coming out in time for American Thanksgiving as well as my birthday. How kind of them!
Eh sorry, I just waded through a fraction of the over 5000 comments on this trailer that have sprung up like ragweed since it was posted (checks) 20 hours ago.
"The greatest movie of a generation" is what the official trailer touts. Hmm. The generation would have to be (roughly) those under age 25, right? I keep track of this stuff very scientifically. My youngest son was just a couple years too young when Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone came out in book form but because the film lagged for a year or two in getting made he was old enough for the 2001 film installment Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. He'd also read the book by that time.
The consensus seems to be that the first three "Potter" films were pretty great. Then IV and V were weak in places and No. VI, "Half-Blood Prince" sort of kicked the franchise in the ass and made it great again.
I was entertained by "Half-Blood Prince." Both the film and the book are in fact my favourites of the series. Whether one's choice for favourite Harry Potter book or whether one has even read the book must have bearing on how one rates the films so in that respect I think I'm rather an average viewer.
The promotion of Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows is very much like that of "Half-Blood Prince." It gets the chills going at times--but the soundtrack has a big influence on that as well (In January 2010, composer Alexandre Desplat was confirmed to produce the score for Harry
Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I.)
Voldemort long ago however devolved into a campy, non-scary thing for me. Maybe he was built up so much that there's no way for him to be as terrifying on film as he is on the page. We shall see. November is a long way away and there is going to be a ton(ne) of promotional stuff set to generating more frenzy. I'll try to keep up with it. And yes, of course I'll be seeing the films.Generally, I see them at the theatre twice.
BTW, 3D for Harry Potter is silly overkill. I'm afraid we are gonna have to ride the "3-D is the future of film" stupidity out for a few years before the studios realize that this way of wringing more $ out of the audience is not worth it--almost across the board thus far. It takes a unique film to be perfectly suited to 3-D--and just how many unique films are even being offered? Certainly nowhere near all the ones that profess to be.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I in theaters on November
19th, 2010.
Warning: The opening of this trailer includes an iconic and surprising moment
between Harry and Voldemort in the Forbidden Forest. Those of you who’ve
read the final Harry Potter book know exactly which scene I’m
talking about, but those of you whohaven’t — those of you
who’ve only consumed Harry Potter as a cinematic experience,
and not a literary one — may find this scene to be a big honking
spoiler. Indeed, pretty much all of the footage ahead, and my thoughts
on it, aren’t for those who prefer to see Harry Potter and the
Deathly Hallows with virgin eyes. For the rest of you: Accio
goosebumples! credit:Popwatch
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part
One begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission
to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemort's immortality and
destroy the Horcruxes. On their own, without the guidance of their
professors or the protection of Professor Dumbledore, the three friends
must now rely on one another more than ever. But there are Dark Forces
in their midst that threaten to tear them apart.
Meanwhile, the
wizarding world has become a dangerous place for all enemies of the Dark
Lord. The long-feared war has begun and Voldemort's Death Eaters seize
control of the Ministry of Magic and even Hogwarts, terrorizing and
arresting anyone who might oppose them. But the one prize they still
seek is the one most valuable to Voldemort: Harry Potter. The Chosen One
has become the hunted one as the Death Eaters search for Harry with
orders to bring him to Voldemort... alive.
Harry's only hope is
to find the Horcruxes before Voldemort finds him. But as he searches for
clues, he uncovers an old and almost forgotten tale-the legend of the
Deathly Hallows. And if the legend turns out to be true, it could give
Voldemort the ultimate power he seeks.
Little does Harry know
that his future has already been decided by his past when, on that
fateful day, he became "the Boy Who Lived." No longer just a boy, Harry
Potter is drawing ever closer to the task for which he has been
preparing since the day he first stepped into Hogwarts: the ultimate
battle with Voldemort.

Ken (of Barbie and...) was amusing but also sinister. I'll never look at/ think of a Ken doll in quite the same way again. Barbie was more like I would expect (sort of a bubblehead). Ken was positively evil at times and I don't agree with the excuse that "Lotso" turned Ken bad. Spanish Buzz Lightyear was truly funny.
I hope they integrate some Spanish Buzz on one of the Toy Story/Buzz Lightyear rides at Disneyland.
Do that and skip the truly lame idea of a LOST ride. Three Cap'n Jacks on a single ride (Pirates of the Caribbean) was a big enough gaffe. One Depp doppleganger would've been fine. Three was (were?) jarring. LOST--a teevee show that...I'll just say not enough mass appeal/understanding of the show to warrant a Disneyland ride. I hate to put it this way but LOST was too 'niche.'
[caption id="attachment_6942" align="aligncenter" width="501" caption="Lorena torments Bill yet again..."][/caption]
Scroll past the text to see the rest of the sequence. It's brutal and funny because it' s Lorena who actually raped Bill first about 140 years ago.
Is it me or did Bill swear once that the only circumstances he would have sex with Lorena again would be to rape her?
So he would never "love" her but would violate her under circumstances TBD? and now he's in those circumstances.
Just a couple of random thought s and info before I put up that awful/funny Bill rapes Lorena, which she likes then Bill wrings Lorena's neck and she likes that even more. Lorena, I think we can agree, is a very sick puppy.
My spouse told me of a news blurb today about a lady that finally got her spouse to watch an episode of True Blood with her. It was this week's episode, " It Hurts Me Too" with the were chomping on Eric and Eric returning the favour, the aftermath of Lorena afire and of course the rape and neck-twisting. True Blood was "too much" for him and he thinks she's awful to like the show. I say she may need reevaluate to whom she's married (j/k -- or am I?)
I screen-capped a ton of things for this episode. I'd say the quality of the screen shots is fair. (I judge pretty harshly.) The photo collages are so-so but they show the sequences of Bill and Lorena interacting--and the hugely black humour beneath that interaction. They are an interesting pair, to say the least.
I watched True Blood's 27th offering for the second time tonight. I really liked it. The dialogue was very, very good. The pacing seems good. I sort of hate that Tara is so effed up, though. Sookie's life is effed up, too but at least Sookie gets to travel and stare at Eric.
Also in my capping I noticed that both actors-- Alexander Skarsgård as Eric and Anna Paquin as Sookie are playing off one another as if the walls are down and they're in "like." She must have given him the flirty little tilt of the head as well as smiled and borderline flirted with Eric at least several times. He in turn made bedroom eyes at her and remained in his killer-charming mode. How could any women resist what Eric brings?
Lovely to make the acquaintance of Alcide Herveaux, a "good" werewolf sent by Eric to protect Sookie whilst Bill is missing. Here's Joe Manganiello (as Alcide) without a shirt. Yes, Please.
FOR AIRDATE JULY 11TH 2010: Sookie goes to an engagement party for Alcide's ex. Tara takes a road trip with Franklin. Eric's search for Bill takes on a sense of urgency. Andy gets a promotion and Sam comes to an agreement with the Mickens.
On January 5, 2010 Alan Ball spoke about the possibility of a fourth season of True Blood. The news is now official: HBO announced on June 21 that True Blood would go into production on a 12 episode- season four in early 2011 with the new episodes premiering that summer --2011. This is something to be jazzed about! I love that I can just relax and enjoy the show and not worry that it is going to be canceled--not that I'd considered it with this show. Nuh-uh.
The upcoming season will loosely follow the plot of the fourth Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Mysteries novel, Dead to the World. Wikipedia source
Alexander Skarsgård (Eric) and Stephen Moyer (Bill) rehearsed a scene for the show on Friday (6.25) in L. A. They both stood up remarkably well in bright sunshine!
Show creator Alan Ball is pictured directing the scene which for the life of me, I cannot make heads nor tails of as I cannot get beyond salivating over how great both men look.
The scene takes place with a cement truck ...Eric looks to be wearing handcuffs...Bill shoves Eric out of the way...Cement is poured over a shallow grave?
The only fix I can get on this is that by the end of Season 3, Eric and Bill's relationship with have morphed into something else.
This episode was jammed-packed and moved at a lightening pace but for a few moments like the Sam and Bill erotic scene ( which turned out to be a dream, sadly. I still have hope!)
My spouse's 49 th birthday (again) is on Friday and being the Disney-Pixar fanatics we are we (my son and I) decided that what he wanted was to see is Toy Story 3.
IMO, what is just as fun and fascinating about the creative genius of a finished Disney-Pixar project is what the creators were going for when they dreamed up what (or perhaps more properly, "who") came to end up on the screen. In a recent NYTimes online interview with Toy Story 3's director Lee Unkrich, who has been with the Toy Story franchise since the beginning, he explains the painstaking process of choosing a new character--and there are 14 added this time to the original 12 (my fave original, hands down--Mr. Potato Head) reminds me of how the Disney "Imagineers" explain how they do what they do. A common theme is that they retain the ability to see the world through the eyes of a child. It's something that adults either get or do not because generally we are discouraged by the world at large to allow our imaginations to exist unfettered and so we give up our childish things. We are the same people who no matter what our age get tremendously excited at the prospect of several days in Disneyland.
I'm missing my family trips to the Land of the Mouse for a few years whilst my son is in college however Toy Story 3 will help bridge the gap between everyday reality and the world of Disney-(Pixar).
Since he liked the appearance of Barbiein “Toy
Story 2,” Mr. Unkrich was interested in having her be a part of the
new film. “Then very quickly on the heels of that decision, we thought
well, if we have Barbie, we had to have Ken,” he said. “I literally went
through the catalog of every Ken from the ’60s to now and looked at
them all. And the one that absolutely stood out for me is this one Ken
from the late ’80s called Animal Lovin’ Ken.” The safari-print shirt and
short shorts are part of the exact outfit from that particular version
of Ken. Naturally, he has frequent costume changes throughout the film,
allowing the filmmakers to snatch clothing designs from his history.
“We could have made up outfits,” Mr. Unkrich said, “but I don’t think we
could have come up with anything as outlandish or as garish as the real
outfits that have existed over the years.”

Short promo teaser for the launch of the new Showtime original
series "The Big C", starring Laura Linney.
I love that Laura Linney is coming to premium cable. She has some excellent company be it Edie Falco, Mary Louise Parker or even the former warrior princess, Xena, now Lucretia on Spartacus, Lucy Lawless. (There is the half-hour offering on Showtime about a woman who comedically deals with having multiple personalities but I find it hard to find humour in that particular type of dysfunction so cannot comment on "The United States of Tara."
Back to "The Big C" and what likely looks like Nancy Botwin's swan song on "Weeds," Season 6.
I'm sold on both the actress and the plot outline of the show. With a half-hour premium cabler I always think, even that if it stinks, I've only wasted 25 minute and I don't' think Linney's new show is gonna stink. Here are some of the deets on Linney and the big C viaShowtime:
Three-time Academy Award® nominee, three-time Emmy® winner, and SAG®
and Golden Globe® Award winner Laura Linney comes to series television
on SHOWTIME® as star and executive producer of the provocative new
half-hour original series, THE BIG C. Linney plays a
reserved suburban wife and mother whose recent cancer diagnosis forces
her to shake up her life and find hope, humor and the light side of a
dark situation, while managing her immature but well-meaning husband,
played by Oliver Platt. Recurring guest star Gabourey Sidibe (Oscar®
nominee for Precious) will play a precocious student. THE BIG C
will shoot 13 episodes later this spring for an August 16th premiere at
10:30pm PT/ET following Weeds.
THE BIG C is created and written by Darlene
Hunt, who will serve as executive producer, along with showrunner/writer
Jenny Bicks, Laura Linney, Neal H. Moritz and Vivian Cannon. It is
produced by Original Film in association with Sony Pictures Television.
Acclaimed writer/director/producer Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) directed the
pilot.
I came to start watching Weeds just as it was starting to peter out--about the third season--but I went back and watched Season 1 and 2 as well as 4 and 5 since then. That Weeds has been granted a sixth season just blows my mind but I'm on board as long as Mary-Louise is.Yes, she's that good. How can anyone hate Mary Louise Parker or "Uncle Andy" (Justin Kirk)? The characters, despite their deep flaws are portrayed by very capable and appealing actors. Must be part of the reason for the longevity.
Anyhoo, I read back in May that Nancy Botwins frenemy, played by Elizabeth Perkins is officially giving up her duties on the show after this season and that might be a good idea for everyone else involved, too.Six years is a looong time for a show that running on one note for way beyond it usual allotted time. Nancy has burned all her bridges but no one wants to see her reach the inevitable resolution -- either jail or death. I vote for an off-scene ending. Exit leaving us with something a bit optimistic... and maybe slightly ominous.
The clip below has Mary Louise Parker and Laura Linney--in character--interacting! It's good! Worth watching.
Weeds season 6 and The Big C season 1 - Premiere August
16 on Showtime.
Terry makes a list for Arlene - TrueBlood-Online.com
I thought this was a really sweet scene. It was not part of the big tableau but it was a chance to get to know Terry Bellefleur, shell-shocked Gulf War vet and short order Merlotte's cook, better. He's always made a kind of sense that you'd have to be him to truly "get," yet his insights can be hugely spot on. In this scene he's painfully aware that Arlene is avoiding him. Terry assumes it's because she's worried about how he'll behave with her kids (long-term is the implied context). We the audience know that when both of them were under Maryann's spell (with the rest of Bon Temps) they had unprotected sex--and lot of it. Now Arlene is pregnant but has not told Terry.
Sookie says "Sookeh" like Bill does - TrueBlood-Online.com
OMG, I could listen to Sookie say "Sookeh" the way Bill does a bunch of times. In fact I just did. Anna Paquin rocks.
Bill is an unwillingly "guest" of the Vampire King of Mississippi, Russell Edgington, who wants Bill in his corner against Queen Sophie-Anne in a bid to grab her queendom. Bill professes ignorance of everything except Sookie pretty much and despite the genteel atmosphere* that Edgington and husband Talbot maintain, under the surface just a tiny bit lies something very ugly. And "it" pops to the surface when the prickly Edgington is not in complete control of everyone. See the caps below.
Talbot went on at great length about each course of their meal. He described it thusly: "warm blood bisque infused with rose petals," "blood gelato" (see photo) and chilled, carbonated blood, "cruelty-free and willingly donated ...Note the citrusy finish. This one ate only tangerines for weeks," said Talbot with pride.
Check out the new caps--Lorena on fire is kind of neat.
Next on True Blood: AIRDATE JUNE 27TH 2010
It Hurts Me Too
S3x03/#27
HBO synopsis: LucyLocket403 — June 20, 2010 — FOR AIRDATE JUNE 27TH 2010: In search of Bill, Sookie heads to Jackson, Mississippi in the company of Alcide, a werewolf bodyguard assigned by Eric to protect her. Jason is distracted from his police exams; Bud reaches the end of his rope; Arlene copes with unexpected news; Franklin charms Tara, and gets Jessica out of a jam; Eric bequeaths a gift to Lafayette. Haunted by visions from his past, Bill makes a surprising pledge of allegiance.
It's not enough to be truly annoyed about but HBO's True Blood has gone and done "it" again. The last time was with the Tru Blood product which could have been named Trueblood, spoken as one word, distinctly different than the name of the show. But noooo!
Now "Operation Werwolf." My spell check is never going to accept Werewolf as Werwolf.
Beyond that this is a perfectly charming snippet from the great start of Season 3 (#25) True Blood. Loved finally seeing Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Jessica ( Deborah Ann Woll) in that scene that a promo photo was issued a while ago shows.

HBO — June 17, 2010 — A tribute to True Blood's Sookie Stackhouse from one of her biggest fans, Snoop Dogg. For more information, log onto HBO.com.
No doubt Snoop is pretty funny. He's always been good at getting his message across. I love the dancing "Sookies" in the background and that they are not all tiny in size. They don't even have to really work at being Sookie just dress up like her, throw on a blond wig vaguely styled in Sookie's signature Merlotte's 'do and bop around behind Snoop. Highly amusing. Hey! I've watched "Oh Sookie" a couple time and I still don't know the exact word(s) that is/are bleeped out the one time that Snoop refers to Jason Stackhouse and his versus Snoop's sexual prowess (I think).
Snoop Dogg likes "True Blood" star Sookie Stackhouse so much, he made a song and video about her. In "Oh Sookie," the West Coast hip-hop vet pays tribute to the HBO vampire drama's main woman (Anna Paquin), seducing her with player talk like, "I'll order you a gin and juice at Merlotte's," and, "Come close baby, I'm the dog that don't bite -- woof, woof." Snoop also makes a convincing case for why he'd make a better boyfriend than her immortal suitors, Bill and Eric. He won't make her drink his blood and “We’ll do it in the daytime/Bill won’t know a thing,” he raps before a group of dancers dressed in blonde Sookie wigs and her signature Merlotte’s Daisy Dukes.
The lyrics, which demonstrate an impressive understanding of the show, spell out a comically sexual plea for Sookie to do bad things with him. But, it’s not just Sookie he’s after: “Bring a friend/Matter fact, bring your best friend/Tara/I’ve got some real eggs for her to eat.” In 2009, Snoop professed his love for ‘True Blood’ via his single “Gangsta Luv,” rapping: “Everyday is the same thang, I creep in/ It’s like ‘True Blood,’ I sink my teeth in/ I gotta have it.” A source at HBO reveals the d-o-double-g himself approached them with the idea for the video, and it was shot on location of the show’s Los Angeles set.
...When Snoop Dogg likes something, no matter the genre or medium, he goes all in with it.
That might explain “Oh Sookie,” a new rhyme in which the Doggfather pays homage to the mind-reading, sex-addicted, shape-shifting, bloodsucking and howling residents of Bon Temps, Louisiana, from HBO’s vampire series “True Blood.” In the video for the tune...Snoop offer(s) up his best sexual seduction come-ons while rocking a five-finger “Sookie” ring. he video for the song opens with Snoop — who later rocks a giant platinum “Sookie” chain — pulling into Bon Temps in his newly tricked-out Snoopmobile, complete with a “Tru Pimp” license plate and cloves of garlic hanging from the rearview mirror. Wearing a red, pinstriped suit, he urges Sookie to come close because, unlike so many of the creatures in the swampy town, “I’m the dog that don’t bite.” ... Snoop drops references to Sookie’s telepathy and even offers to buy her a gin and juice at the restaurant where she waitresses, Merlotte’s diner. “Bill ain’t for real, he ain’t true blood/ Snoop is a G, I smoke true bud/ Wanna be a vampire, gotta listen up/ I hit you with the glamour,” he raps while hanging outside Merlotte’s in a pimp fur and later showing off his own TB product, a package of “True Nutz.” MadHipHop
Read more :Geeks of Doom Iconic rapper Snoop Dogg really likes vampire drama True Blood, or at the very least, one of the show’s main characters Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin). Evidence of Snoop’s True Blood-fanboyism can overwhelmingly be found in the music video “Oh Sookie” he produced and subsequently uploaded to YouTube to promote the show for HBO.
OMG. LOL. That's pretty awesome. Snoop is a genuine fan of True Blood. I'm in the mom demographic with my youngest kid but my oldest is in his 20's. We saw Snoop Dogg at Lollapalooza years ago. Snoop is very much a performer. He works it. Both he and HBO are savvy marketers which something I can really appreciate when it's done with style, in this case, Doggy Style. :)
... The video begins with Snoop pulling up to Merlotte’s in a tricked-out Cadillac with a personalized California license plate that reads “TRU PIMP.” He comes bearing gifts like “Tru Nutz” and proceeds to rap amongst a montage of True Blood clips and shots of Sookie look-a-like dancers.
Clarification: Dancers dressed in Sookie's Merlottte work-clothes costumes with blond, ponytailed hair.
This is truly a yummy, slice of pop culture. I love how confounding it is for people who are really unfamiliar with True Blood or with Snoop Dogg but are very familiar with one of them. They either get it or they don't and when they don't, they hate it. LOL. It's supposed to be funny --just like much of True Blood is. It really takes a light heart to enjoy this. To be able to laugh and to give Snoop props for the effort. It's a catchy tune.
The lyrics have numerous references to the show, such as Snoop recommending a Gin and Juice at Merlotte’... Sam Merlotte being a shape-shifter that Snoop sort of belows the belt by referring to him as a ‘bitch.’
Snoop helpfully suggests to Sookie how she could discretely hook up with him. Chorus: "Oh Sookie, Let me get in your head. Oh Sookie, We can lay in the bed. Oh Sookie, Choose a player like me …We can do it in the daytime, Bill won’t know a thing." ... Snoop (also beckons Tara with): “Bring a friend. Matter of fact, bring your best friend: Tara. I got some real eggs for her to eat. And these eggs come with a whole lot of cheese and greens… ya dig?”

Help "Steve's" kids have some extra cheer this Christmastime!
The MOYER KIDS THEATRE FUND was created to help bring classes and schoolchildren from local schools to Brentwood Theatre to enjoy the thrill of live theatre with our annual Holiday Show: This year, its THE PLOTTERS OF CABBAGE PATCH CORNER, which will be great fun. Many schools experienced drastic budget cuts, so our campaign is to help defray some of the costs to produce this performance, to give low-cost or no-cost tickets, and to provide safe transportation to and from the theatre. Last year, we raised more than £1500 in only two months before the show opened, which brought many children to experience THE TWITS. We aim to bring even more children in 2010.
In our quest to raise the five-thousand pounds before the holiday show begins, the Billsbabes Fan Site decided to help us with their fundraiser, coinciding with the opening of Season Three!!
Thanks very much, and here's to a bloody good Season Three!

True Blood - Season 3 Finale - Set Photos SPOILERS (scroll down to the jump)
All have to say is boy, do those True Blood makeup people do a fantastic job with the gore!
The *Spoilers* photos tell a great deal about part of Eric's (Alexander Skarsgård) fate. They are filming in bright sunlight. He's very burned and has draining tubes aplenty.
Godric (Alan Hyde) is also there, wearing the white robe-like garments Eric last saw him in before Godric "met the sunrise." This is, based on the state Eric is in some type of hallucination or simply a fading into a almost final death place (where ever that is for vamps).
In addition, King of Mississippi Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare) is in a bad way-- in heavy "burn" makeup--holding a lunch tray which to say the least, is an odd juxtaposition.
So brace yourself! After the jump comes the Season 3 final spoiler photos courtesy of the ever-wonderful SpoilerTV!
More Spoilers:
Q: How are True Blood's werewolves different than shifters?
A: They're definitely similar, but werewolves are a bit more ambitious. For example, they fought in World War II... just not on our side. Details! Look for an Eric-and-Godric flashback about these cani-Nazis, which will probably confuse you once you find out who employs Bill's kidnappers. Source: TV Guide
Q: (Oh. Poor. Bill.) What's Bill in for? A: I have three words for you: Vampire hate sex. And it comes in Episode 3. I’ll leave it to you top speculate on who’s about to like it rough. (Isn't that called rape? I am so glad I watched (another HBO show, OZ, show a few years back, to prep me for this. )
Q:... is Jason Stackhouse going to get a new love interest this season? A: According to Ryan Kwanten, yes! and... "She may just stick around for a little while" Ryan tells me.
Q: I need to know more about this True Blood sex shocker that is so twisted. Who does it involve? A:You learned one half of the party here and the other half, who will be revealed in the third episode, has this to say about it:
"It was actually the most shocking thing that I've ever read in a television script. My jaw dropped on the floor when I read it and thought, 'Oh my god, I actually have to do that.' Here's your script, pray that your parents will be okay when they watch this episode. They may not want to. It was a little uncomfortable, but we got through it and I'm working with the best people from the writers to the producers to the other actors and at the end of the day, I'd rather be on a show that's provocative and pushes the envelope than one that doesn't." ( is this a Stephen Moyer quote?) ...
Q: Is Sam ever going to be happy on True Blood?
Based on the first three episodes... no, Sam will never, ever find happiness. but... "Yes, you will see Sam happy. Momentarily." (Sam Trammell)
Q: Any more Bill's maker Lorena again ? A: Lorena will be making a very unwelcome return to True Blood this week. And per usual, she's piling on the drama superthick. Luckily (sorta) for Bill, this lights a fire within—operative word being fire.

Looks like "beautifully broken" is going to apply in at least a couple of situations in this week's True Blood episode (S3x02).
It seems Tara's heart is completely broken and she's lost all hope.
In the case of kidnapped Bill, I'm pretty sure his captors are going to try to break his will (and to a degree succeed--though maybe not this week). Hm. Maybe a promise will be broken? This season is allegedly "all about sex" so then does beautifully broken allude to getting it on some way? We'll just have to stay tuned.

Synopsis:
Beautifully Broken
Sam tests the strength of his family bonds. Tara finds an ally in a shady vampire named Franklin Mott. Eric remembers his past. Russell Edgington, the Vampire King of Mississippi, concocts a plan to consolidate his power. via: HBO.com
Now that we seen The first episode of True Blood Season 3 part of this episode description makes more sense to me.
Keeping in mind I have no ahead-of-time viewing opportunities so I'm just guessing-- the part about Tara finding an "ally" in in Franklin Mott now makes more sense. Last week set up Tara finding out about Eggs, alienating Sookie by attacking her physically after finding out from Sookie that she complied with Egg's last request and found a lot of murdering on his mind, and attempting an overdose. To say she is in a bad place--and we haven't even seen how bad it is gonna get--is probably under guesstimating how "twisted" the TB writers are.
Franklin Mott oozes bad.
Tara, bent on suicide one way or another gets with him. In one of the many promos (note to HBO, I've read people referring to the advert onslaught as an...onslaught. It was awesome but extremely intense.

HBO — Jun 13, 2010 — Season 3 Ep. 0 — Go behind the scenes with Alan Ball and his team as they talk about using real wolves in the show. For more information, log onto HBO.com.
*Alan Ball does not actually say or imply this but he does make a very large point that real wolves are really important in Season 3 of True Blood.
I love that he (correctly) refers to the (real) wolves as "actors." It's probably not even a thing to be noted by those in the business but it tells the audience quite a bit about 1. Alan Ball and, 2. how incredibly trained these wolves are. This is what they do.
NEW Promo Stills - Bill and Sam Homoerotica (full scene):
The most astonishing thing that the screen caps reveal besides Alexander Skarsgård's...everything is the way his character, Erik is looking at Sookie. She is livid with him, storming into the club convinced that Eric had Bill taken. She was very impolite --yet instead of the mildly amused, condescending look he usually has when he is forced to listen to non-vampires drone on--Erik is looking at Sookie with love--the whole time! That is how Skarsgård played it. Anna (Paquin "Sookie"), OTH was quite upset or angry enough to match her words, though never looked turned on or affectionate towards Eric. She was very aware that he was looking at her as he was (and of course, he helpfully spelled it out- "I want what is Bill's...")
TheVaultTrueBlood — June 14, 2010 — Video property of HBO. No copyright infringement intended. "Bad Blood" S3xE2 - Sam's erotic dream"
Eric’s Nude Scene / Desperate to find Bill — and getting no help from the law — Sookie rushes to Eric’s club Fangtasia, where she finds him getting … uh, very well acquainted with his nightclub’s new dancer. Although Eric isn’t behind Bill’s disappearance, Sookie’s trip wasn’t a total waste — thanks to a good look at Eric’s behind! Bill Appears in Sam’s Dream / Getting rid of maenad Maryann required a huge sacrifice on Sam’s part — getting stabbed in the chest by Eggs. Luckily, Bill was on hand to save him with his magical vampire blood. The catch? The bar owner feels a new sexual attraction to Bill, who showed up sexy, shirtless and looking for a shower buddy in Sam’s dream. Jason Loses His Mojo// When policeman Andy takes the rap for Eggs’s death, he advises the dopiest Stackhouse to go back to his old ways -– namely, bedding women all over town. When Jason stumbles into a tryst with some traveling NYU students, though, he finds that he keeps flashing back to Eggs’s death, and envisions his partners with bullet holes in their foreheads. When Jason tells them this, the co-eds think he’s a psycho and flee. Tara Tries to Kill Herself !/ After the love of her life was killed in Merlotte’s parking lot, Tara is under the close watch of her cousin Lafayette until he has to take care of his shady vampire business, calling on her mom to take care of her. Never up for Mom of the Year, Lettie Mae allows Tara to slip into the bathroom where she does her best to swallow handfuls of pills. Bill Faces the Wolves/ He escaped his V-fiend kidnappers by causing a car wreck and fed on an old woman, who told him he was in Mississippi. Cue the howling! As Bill made his way through the woods, he faced a pack of hungry — or angry? — wolves. In the final scene, Bill attacks.

I did not know this about Toy Story or hadn't really thought it through. This Disney-Pixar collaboration is non-3D? That it is offered in 2 dimensions is good regardless but also...
if it is only in 2-D I congratulate Disney-Pixar for realizing a certain type of film is best-suited to being rendered in the 3D medium as well as a certain type that isn't.
If Toy Story had radically changed--going to 3D is pretty radical at this point in the resurrection of 3D--then it wouldn't be Toy Story.
The creators of the beloved Toy Story films re-open the toy box
and bring moviegoers back to the delightful world of Woody, Buzz and our
favorite gang of toy characters in TOY STORY 3. Woody and Buzz had
accepted that their owner Andy would grow up someday, but what happens
when that day arrives?
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Victorinox Swiss Army. All opinions are 100% mine.
I suppose it is unsurprising that as we move further into the 21st Century that the wearing of watches seems a vestige of the past. After all, most everyone carries a cellphone and all of them have a time function. In addition, many people, especially more active business people carry netbooks or the like in their day-to-day coming and goings.
What used to be an "essential" to be fully dressed for work is now seen less and less in favour of tech pieces that forgive the pun, do not stand the test of time. Even though technology generally improves our lives there can be a cost, too. In the case of wristwatch-wearing the cost has been their increasing scarcity. And that can be a great loss because a great watch is not disposable. It can be worn by a father and passed on--still fully functional with timeless style--to his son
Since I can remember, my Dad has worn a watch and my spouse as well and my eldest son wears one to work. And speaking of work, I think one of the best reasons to wear a time piece is that you look so much more businesslike checking the time on a great-looking Victorinox Swiss Army watch for instance, then you do pulling out your cellphone and checking it. It's undoubtedly more convenient to simply pivot your wrist slightly to check the time as well. Plus no one is going to suspect you of wasting time on the job when you take a peek at your watch versus whipping out your cellphone.
If you haven't thought about watches for awhile I encourage you to check out this Victorinox Swiss Army timepiece:
This is the Swiss Army Summit XLT Chronograph. It's appealing both visually as a fine piece of functional jewelry.
Made in Switzerland with
precision Swiss analog quartz movement
Mineral crystal
Water
resistant to 10 ATM (100 meters/330 feet)
Stainless steel case
Luminous
hands and hour markers
Screw-in caseback
Date
Unidirectional
rotating bezel
Chronograph
Rubber strap
This watch would be my choice for either of my sons, one a businessman and the other a just-graduated high school student. It's rugged, functional and great-looking with features they'd both appreciate.(The mom in me thinks too, "That watch looks really well-built (and beautiful) I bet it will last forever!")
Are you thinking of Father's Day or a graduation gift that will always be remembered? Have a look then at swissarmy(dot) com so you can see a terrific range of quality timepieces.
And because everyone loves to win really great stuff, go to the
Facebook IWAW sweepstakes page and become a fan and
participate in the I Wear a Watch sweepstakes.
You could be one of the 30 (!) winners over a 30 day time frame who will win a Victorinox Swiss Army
timepiece!
I'd read in one of Kurt Sutter's tweets or blog posts awhile back* that he was sort of bummed about "Half Sack" wanting out of the show (so the character was killed defending Gemma)--leaving little room to bring back Taryn Manning who played "Cherry" a wannabe biker chick who was clearly a bit messed up but seemed like she had half a brain to maybe be less messed up(?)
The new blurb below says Taryn is coming back in Season 3 "for a three episode arc." That is cool with me as I think physically, she's perfect for Cherry, fits in very well in the world of SOA, and Manning is an actress that dependably nails the material she's given.
*Sigh* I never tire of photos of Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) on his hog.
The third season of FX’s gloriously gritty ‘Sons of Anarchy’ will feature the return of wild Cherry.
Taryn Manning (’Drive’ "Six Feet Under") will reprise the role she created during Season 1 for at least three episodes.
*The encore comes as a bit of a surprise, seeing as series boss Kurt Sutter indicated on Twitter in February that Manning’s role on CBS’ new ‘Hawaii Five-O’ had effectively waylaid a storyline he had mapped out for her return.
This is pretty cool, too. Fun in the summertime:
http://www.bigbearchoppers.com/
Said story arc, I have since learned, introduces the oft-mentioned Belfast charter of SAMCRO, populated in part by Keith McGee (to be played by Aussie actor Andrew McPhee) and Liam O’Neil (Arie Verveen). Liam, a source tells me, is “involved” with Cherry. A CBS rep did not respond to inquiries about Manning’s current status with ‘Hawaii Five-O.’...
Manning last appeared on ‘SOA’ in November 2008. At that time, Cherry revealed to Gemma that 1) her real name was Rita, 2) she was still “sorta married” to an abusive husband, and 3) she was wanted for grand theft and arson. After narrowly escaping police custody and saying goodbye to boyfriend Half-Sack, she went on the run and disappeared.
Sons Of Anarchy’ premieres its third season in October*** on FX.
In case you missed it from The Man himself, Kurt Sutter, an update on Season 3.01:
"The season picks up a few days after the season two finale and the episode is about Jax's emotional journey through the devastation of losing a child."
And a few more updates on Sons of Anarchy Season 3 which is actively being written:
"302, directed by another "Shield" alum, Gwyneth Horder-Payton, came out great. I will say there's a scene near the end that rivals the tattoo removal sequence in season one. It makes me giggle.
I haven't seen 303 yet. That too, directed by a "Shield" alum, Billy Gierhart. Looking forward to seeing Stephen King in that one.
304 is being shot by one of my favorite directors, and another "Shield" director, Guy Ferland (do you see a pattern?). Episode 3.04 will be called "Home"
305 is being prepped, Gwyneth is helming that one as well.
306 is written and titled "The Push."
And I'm avoiding writing 307 at this very moment. It's due a week from today."
UPDATE: BE SURE TO READ MY CURRENT COVERAGE OF SONS OF ANARCHY on my sister blog
jussunique — June 12, 2010 — Another True Blood Promo with quotes from the media.
This one begins with the of King of Mississippi lamenting "Poooor Sookie," this time to Bill instead of Eric.
This has new dialogue, too.
HBO — June 10, 2010 — The WAIT is FINALLY OVER! Tonight was the season premiere of True Blood. For more information, log onto HBO.com.
TRUE BLOOD: Based on the popular Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris, this hit drama series was created by Alan Ball, creator of HBO’s Emmy®-winning series “Six Feet Under.” The show tells the ongoing tale of Sookie (Golden Globe winner Anna Paquin), a waitress with telepathic gifts – and an irresistible attraction to 173-year old vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) who went missing at the end of season two.
With the assistance (and often hindrance) of locals – including her newly inspired brother Jason (Ryan Kwanten), shape-shifting boss Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell), in-mourning pal Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley), Tara’s vamp-linked cousin Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), on-the-wagon detective Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer), vampire sheriff Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård) and teen vamp Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) –
Sookie desperately tries to locate her fiancé as season three opens, ending up in a netherworld of human and undead interlopers, among them the Vampire King of Mississippi, Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare) and his followers, a pack of vicious werewolves who feed on vampire blood.
Episode #25: “Bad Blood:
Sookie turns to Eric for help finding Bill; Andy urges Jason to stay the course; Sam reconnects with his past; Tara seeks refuge from her grief. (Written by Brian Buckner; directed by Daniel Minahan.)
HBO — June 10, 2010 — Only 1 day until the season premiere of True Blood. For more information, log onto HBO.com.
Cool that Lafayette got a great spot In the countdown...ONLY promo. Will there be another ONLY...X amount of hours video today? I'm sure the ads will be on double time but another video?
From what I can see there's one new frame in this "Season 3 Countdown - ONLY 1 DAY " video I screen capped a few in the sequence. They are shown copied the sequence which I'll post below as thumbnails after the new frame of a scene we've viewed partly as a minisode and spliced in as a very very quick cut in regular promo/sneak peeks of which there have been way too many. LOL. Great promotions department True Blood HBO has. Hats off to them. Or perhaps in this case it should be "fangs out!" to them. ;)
[caption id="attachment_5818" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="Jessica and the unfortunate trucker. "][/caption]
Jessica has a problem. She just overfed and killed the twice-her-age horny trucker. What to do with the unfortunate trucker's corpse? (Oh crap. Is that Hoyt at the door?) She seemed to be hauling him around like a limp rag doll. There are tons of screen caps of Jessica and this guy. Here's my favourite:
[caption id="attachment_5828" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="Jessica, about to chainsaw the dead trucker (I think)"][/caption]
HBO — Jun 10, 2010 — Season 3 Ep. 0 — With all the time in the world -- literally -- on her hands, Jessica Hamby has started a video blog. Take a look at what she's been up to at http://www.babyvamp-jessica.com.
True Blood: Jessica's Blog - Fangin'
With all the time in the world new vamp Jessica, with her maker Bill missing, has loads of time for trouble. Fangin' around on the interwebs will probably be the least of it.
How can you not love Jessica? She is irresistible!
(Do the fang retractions and extensions(?) sound like the crunch of cereal or a cracker?)
..
HBO — Jun 10, 2010 — Season 3 Ep. 0 — The HBO marketing department would like to apologize for getting a little over-exuberant in its enthusiasm for the return of True Blood, premiering Sunday at 9pm.
True Blood: Season 3 - Clip 1
Eric (Alex Skarsgård) answers a season 2 cliffhanger in this conversation--or at least part of it. Pam (Kristen Bauer van Straten) tries to get Eric to use reason but he shuts her down and continues to react--instead of act.
Sookie (Anna Paquin) insists that she and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) "gotta find that place (where Bill may be).
Bill (Stephen Moyer) warns an approaching wolf that he (Bill) has fed. Then he goes all fangy.
Eric tells Sookie (Anna Paquin) that her life is too valuable to take it for granted advising her not to act "like werewolf bait".
Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) seeks Pam's (Kristen Bauer van Straten, ) expertise in draining blood without killing the blood doner.
Sookie tells Alcide (Joe Manganiello) who is accompanying her to Jackson, that she will "pack light" after he tells her with a hint of sarcasm in his voice, that she is going to get them both killed
The photos may not have spoilers necessarily but my descriptions if you click through, do.
Can't help it. I'm a spoiler hound.
Guess if I were a shifter I be a dog (or more accurately, a bitch. lol).
In honour of Sunday's premiere of TB Season 3, Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, and Alexander Skarsgård landed the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly. See what the cast has to say about the sexiness and secrets of season three!
* Alexander Skarsgård on his newfound fame: "It's quite surreal that people want to take a picture of me buying milk. I don't really get it."
* Joe Manganiello on having to be nude as Alcide: "Having been a fan of the show, you know you're going to be naked at some point. I will say that I was welcomed into the brotherhood of the sock. When you're naked on the show, you have to wear a sock, and it's not on your foot."
* Creator Alan Ball on this year's theme: "If last season's general theme was religion, I would say this season's theme is probably politics — vampire politics."
To hear some more, including how real-life couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer feel about their sex scenes, just keep reading.
* Sam Trammell's hints about the new season: "There are some elements, metaphors of racial politics and gender politics — they're there if you want to look for them, but it's really popcorn, fun entertainment."
* Anna Paquin on how she feels about the nudity: "It doesn't really bother me. I'm really close with all of our cast, and we've all seen each other in various compromising and odd situations."
* Stephen Moyer on how his relationship with Paquin is a benefit: "I think that one great bonus is we don't need afluffer."
Hee.
First Kristen is calling True Blood "porn." Now Stephen Moyer (Vampire Bill Compton) is teasing us about his non-need for "a fluffer" when he's got Anna around.
I love HBO for giving us True Blood.
The stars of True Blood gathered at the ArcLight Cinemas in the City of Angels Tuesday night to celebrate the premiere of their third season. Anna Paquin, looking glam (as is her inclination) wore Proenza Schouler. She was accompanied by fiancé Stephen Moyer on the red carpet, and they were joined by costars Ryan Kwanten, who brought his mom as his date (aww), Sam Trammell (yum), Rutina Wesley, Alexander Skarsgård, Nelsan Ellis and Season 2's Michelle Forbes as well as the remarkable True Blood Creator, Alan Ball. Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) confronts Dexter (Michael C. Hall) with shocking news.
Julia
Stiles is joining the cast of Dexter for
the series' upcoming fifth season, Showtime announced earlier this week.
The 29-year-old actress will guest-star in 10 of the 12 episodes, playing a
"mysterious woman who forms a special relationship with Dexter" (Michael
C. Hall) in the wake of his wife's death.
Known for her roles in 10
Things I Hate
About You,Save the Last Dance, and the Bourne films with Matt Damon, Stiles most recently appeared on Broadway in a 2009 production of David
Mamet's
Oleanna.
The new season of Dexter begins shooting this month (June 2010) and will
premiere this September on Showtime.
TVGuide.com also confirmed recently
that Julie Benz will return for the Season 5 premiere of Dexter.
Benz played Rita Bennett, the wife of serial killer Dexter Morgan, until the Season 4 finale, when she was murdered by the
Trinity Killer (John
Lithgow).
About Benz's return, executive producer Sara
Colleton says,
"Bringing her back in a flashback
or visionary way sort of steps on our use of Harry [James Remar]," in a reference to Dexter's dead Dad, who appears and has conversations with his son Dex, every once and again.
"We want to be very, very specific about that and not
get gimmicky, because it would become too much of a device," says Colleton.
Showtime's statement on Benz's return is sort of vague as to how exactly the very dead Rita will appear.
"As
Dexter grapples with the reality of the death of his wife and the
realization that he is now a single father, the presence of Rita Bennett
will help him deal with his newfound feelings of loss and grief —
emotions that Dexter Morgan has never really felt before." is the official Season 5 description from Showtime. (May 25)
Showtime's Dexter is on lookout for an actress to play a "smart, tough, Latina
police officer. She's young, confident, passionate, and driven by her
hardscrabble upbringing." (June 7)
As previously reported, there will also be some new faces
gathering around Dexter to fill the void left by Rita's tragic death.
An
"Agent Walker" will be a new male face at the FBI quarters, while a "
sweet, 60-something couple named Molly and Bill" will be involved with
motherless kids Astor, Cody and infant Harrison.
In preparation for the Rita's funeral
shoot a funeral director and several
mourners are being /have been cast. There will be a closed casket, as Julie Benz will be
busy. Source: TV Guide Magazine

The 4-days sneak peek went to quickly for me to screen cap well but I'm fairly certain Tara, who is at Lafayette's home, takes some kind of drugs in an attempt to overdose ( heaven knows they'd be easy to find there) then a quick shot of Lafyette dressed as he does when he breaks down the door. Then Lafayette assisting Tara telling her mother that he was "not going to fail (Tara) again."
Q: I am desperate for some True Blood! Can you help a girl out?
Ausiello: While on the set last week for the Ultimate Fan Experience, I spied a very creepy scene being shot between Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) and his new beau, Jesus (played by Kevin Alejandro) that sheds new light on something Ellis told my colleague Tim Stack in this week’s Entertainment Weekly cover story. “There is absolutely more to him than meets the eye,” he teased. “There is something supernatural about Jesus, and how dark it is has yet to be seen.”

***To be clear, it was Kristen Dos Santos of E! that was fixated on the sex. She should watch some of her own videos and get a gander at the uncomfortable facial expressions on her interview-ees she elicits sometimes with her take-no-prisoners (some would call her pushy) interview style.

Though the 2 starring male vamps seem to be the focus of all the chatter (in the press at least) both Sam and Nelsan can very much hold their own in any department. Theirs may be a different kind of awesome (non-throat-ripping, at least so far) but they are both awesome all the same. One of them has been my fave male TB actor since Season 1. (I'm not telling - I 'ship the WHOLE show).
[caption id="attachment_5508" align="alignleft" width="294" caption="Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin, Alexander Skarsgård - TB S3 Premiere"][/caption]
Though clearly Alex is the most beautiful human walking the earth, Stephen oozes charm and good humour. Though at age 40, he calls himself "an older actor,' he obviously picked up a lovely mix of self confidence and poise along the way.
Of all the stars interviewed Rutina seems like the one you could comfortable talk to and not squee. She still seems excited and grateful to hone her craft on the show. During the interview a bus goes by and she is taken aback by seeing her image on it's side (it's a very cute moment).
I missed seeing Nelsan Ellis and Deborah Ann Woll being interviewed. They both looked beautiful. Deborah stunning and Nelsan so handsome. Hopefully next time they will have a chance to share a few insights about ...anything really. :)

True Blood - S2 Finale - S2xE12 - Beyond Here Lies Nothin' - Screen Caps - (Originally Published Sept 19, 2009)
NEW! The Dance, The Proposal, The Garroting
Maryann has gathered everyone in Bon Temps to witness her marriage to "the God Who Comes." She has hexed them all and they all have "bug-eyes" and have no will of their own. For "The God" to come, he needs a "vessel"-- and an offering, in this case many kinds of meat and an ostrich egg--and a human sacrifice. Sam Merlotte is the unlucky guy who will literally give up his heart to Maryann. Eggs is tasked with first stabbing Sam, allowing Maryann to determine that Sam meets the requirements--which he does. From there, due to a plan known only to Sam and Vampire Bill, things get very unpredictable.
NEWLY added Screen Caps! Sookie and Bill's Dance, Engaged or Not?, Bill's Garroting
I've loved the immense number of video sneak peeks and teasers that True Blood HBO has released but I've have been kept hugely busy making screen caps--and adding the dialogue where I can to go with the caps (that, or info or questions about the scene).
Yes, I'm odd that way. I enjoy doing it. There are always bits & pieces that flash by in a split season that I miss unless I cap the videos. So here you go--over 300 screen caps from the official True Blood Season 3 trailers as of June 1! Many are truly high quality--perfect for fan art. :)

This cap freaked me out more than any other. The Magister is terrifying--and he's got Pam strung up! Eric is standing there--will he attempt to intervene? He of course was pulling Pam's strings with the V-selling and Queen Sophie-Anne (below) was doing the same to Eric. The Magister likes to be "creative" in his punishments as he demonstrated when he forced Bill to create Jessica. What will he come up with for Pam, Eric & Sophie-Ann? I can only hope that the Queen takes the brunt of it.

In the last frame Jason sees a Were Panther that observed his emotional breakdown in the woods. This is a pivotal moment, arguably the most important of any of the minisodes.
Q:Is Jason going to get away with shooting Eggs on True Blood? A: For now, yes. Andy has a pretty hilarious way for the dunderheaded Jason to remember how to avoid suspicion — a mantra, if you will. Wait until you hear it. TVGuide MegaBuzz

Toy Story 3 will be presented in Disney Digital 3D™ in select
theaters on June 18th, 2010.
The creators of the beloved Toy
Story films re-open the toy box and bring moviegoers back to the
delightful world of Woody, Buzz and our favorite gang of toy characters
in TOY STORY 3. Woody and Buzz had accepted that their owner Andy would
grow up someday, but what happens when that day arrives?
*** I'm way behind--but catching up! "Ken" is only three days old. Besides, don't you like having lots of Toy Story goodies all in one place? I knew you would!
In the third installment, Andy is preparing to depart
for college, leaving his loyal toys troubled about their uncertain
future. Lee Unkrich (co-director of Toy Story 2 and Finding Nemo)
directs this highly anticipated film, and Michael Arndt, the Academy
Award®-winning screenwriter of Little Miss Sunshine, brings his unique
talents and comedic sensibilities to the proceedings.

I can't imagine that these would be spoilers but in case you have come to Harry Potter late in the game and you have not read the "Epilogue" to "Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows" then perhaps you should not read any further.
The Epilogue was so unnecessary. Rowling was terribly ill-advised to continue when she should have left things as they were. Must have been keeping with her inability to self-edit as with each Potter book that got fatter the very health of youngsters heaving it around with them was threatened
I can't even remember the Epilogue clearly, I was so disgusted by it.
Is it 30 years later? From the looks of this bunch in these set photos it appears as if they've aged 100 years, especially the men.
I'm not exaggerating. They look perfectly awful. Perhaps I'll exit the theatre just as the Epilogue starts. I was sort of hoping they'd leave it out of the film.
This so reminds me of LOST (it seems many things do these days). LOST should have ended when Jack laid down to die with Vincent beside him. But noooo! The audience needed to be hammered over the head with the message! It's about LOVE! And LIFE! And DEATH! And REBIRTH!
And so the message in Harry Potter 7's epilogue is that life goes on and good friends stay together forever.
