Now that I've bid you good tidings for the remainder of this year (and beyond, of course) I'm leaving you with the nuggets that I've come upon today. They are Battlestar Galactica-related beginning with a short clip of Bill Adama and his nearly life-long friend Saul Tigh, his XO on the Galactica. Bill seems to be drunk and he is certainly angry as he challenges Tigh to "go on--just do it."
On the heels of the short promo is Webisode 5,"The Face Of The Enemy," in it's entirety.
This episode is the best since the first FoTE 'sode, in my opinion. Put together these 'sodes are playing out much as a Galactica full-length episode would so yay! for Christmas pressies from BSG.
Big thankies to galacticasitrep

In a scene on New Caprica (later in this webisode), the Eight and Felix work to find/free the missing and captured.
Still lost in space.
Drake laments that it could have been him (killed).
Felix examines the pliers.
Gaeta questions the remaining crew: " Who did this?"
Pilot: "(The pliers are) old as frak...the grip wore off."
Co-pilot is devoid of suggestions.
Pilot continues to looked stupefied.
No one likes a void so the Eight speaks: Maybe someone didn't like the idea of a machine breathing their air."
The knuckle-dragger takes this as an accusation and asks if he's being accused.
If the stripped pliers fit...
The argument between Drake and the Eight grows more heated. The ineffectual pilot weakly comments, "Guys, we are using too much oxygen."
Felix: "Shut the frak up!
Everyone shuts up.
"It was an accident!"
What are we going to do with her? (the dead Eight)
The Eight speaks first. "We jettison her. We have to."
"She's going to start giving off methane and hydrogen."
The co-pilot composes herself enough to tell the Eight that she is "heartless."
Felix ponders briefly and says, "She's right, we've got to get rid of her body."
They'll need flight suits.
The crippled guy digs out the flight suits.
The Eight confides to Felix, "I have an idea how to get us home..."
Felix: "What do you mean?"
Eight: " Trust me." "I'll tell you when they are asleep."
Felix begins a few moments of deja vu.
...then trips down memory lane, back 15 months to occupied New Caprica.
Felix Gaeta, President Baltar's right hand man, prepares a list of the missing and known captured.
He expresses his doubts...
"Some of these people...I have not seen in a long time. They may already be..."
"Gods." <sighs>
The Eight tries to reassure Gaeta that the rescue plan is sound.
The One's--they keep good records. If somebody's locked up, I can find them and get them out.
"We can do this, Felix--really."
In present time,on the Galactica:
Hoshi prepares for the rescue mission.
"LT, let's go huntin'"

Webisodes cast and crew credits
Commentary on newest "You Will Know The Truth"
Clue 11 is a very dense clue, a static-y audio clip from You Will Know The Truth that could be listened to and dissected forever (it's Christmas--not happening if you have a life!)
It's that weaselly Tom Zarek talking about a rebellion: "Every revolution begins when one small act occurs. But I hope you understand how serious this is..." and then it fades out. Other voices include someone saying "Our little secret," Baltar,(speaking to Gaeta?), "You know exactly what I'm talking about." Sharon saying, "Or anyone else," and Gaeta saying, "So I guess a pity frak is out of the question then?" (I'm thinking this could fit in well following Felix's return from his webisode adventure).
It ends with the chimes of church bells--12 rings.
Clue 12
Starbuck sits, writing something in a book. Commotion ensues. Over the speakers it is announced that everyone must evacuate.
(Fan speculation is that it is a phony fire that is part of a mutiny led by Tom Zarek that has been overtly alluded to in the promo clips.) My fondest wish is that Zarek dies SOON!
It is sort of strange as Starbuck rushes out and notes that the crewman in charge of the evac is a former pilot from the Pegasus, not the Galactica. He spits out at Starbuck that she's to follow orders and for good measure, "Gawds, nobody even knows what you are anymore!
He leaves. She utters "Son-of-a-bitch!" and goes running toward the (alleged) fire.
Clue 13
A video clip from the first half of S4, "Guess What's Coming To Dinner." The clip includes Adama (the only one with dialogue), Roslin, Helo, and Tigh. Adama wants to "put a lid on" betraying the rebel Cylons by keeping the Final Five in Fleet custody until they reach Earth. He states that the "real plan" will stay in that room. Adama instructs Helo to have someone escort rebel Cylon leader Natalie back to her basestar to inform her people that they have a deal. If you recall this eppy, at the same time, the rebel Cylons were making contingency plans oftheir own to betray the humans.

I've had many good things happen in my life including wishes and dreams coming true.
Recently, a fellow blogger wrote an insightful, moving, humourous, and thought-provoking blog post about wishes.
I tend mostly to cut straight to the chase of a topic but Brett never seems in a hurry to get his thoughts down in print and his Grant a Wish post was no different.
Brett thoroughly explored what a wish means to him by breaking it down into components and linking important members of his biological family to the attributes.
He began with his grandfather, who he described as "a self-made man who granted wishes his entire life."
Brett recalled his memories of his grandfather and in doing so reminded me of my own grandfather, known as "Frank," who was also very much a self-man man. He was a man who in his 101-year life went from a 14-year-old cook out in the wild west of British Columbia to a Sargent with the Toronto police department. Of course there were many, many places in-between. Also like Brett's granddad, Frank built many things with his hands and would have appreciated the quality of Craftsman tools. Some of his creations include the cottages at Maple Lake and many of the original furniture pieces in them or that were in them.
Brett wrote too of his grandmother who he credited with bestowing empathic abilities--a truly golden gift in my opinion, as I was given it as well. He went on to credit his mum with instilling a love of reading which in turn garnered him a wide life perspective as well as spoke of his dad encouraging Brett's freedom to chose what he wanted to do in life. Besides empathy, he credited his grandmother with an understanding of potential in others and in his grandfather’s drive to help people, an example of and a desire for improving the world around them.
And just as if he had a large, lovely ribbon Brett tied together the things that his loved ones had given him.
He spoke of his grandfather at the tender age of 16 building a working motorcycle from scratch so he'd be able to get to town and find better work. He shared that his grandfather's interest in finding a better way to accomplish things never waned. Brett said that if his grandfather found a more efficient or effective way of doing things he adopted them and integrated them into his own repertoire.
The theme of continuing improvement to realize a dream tied together much of what Brett said about his family and he shared that he believes it "important in life to try and improve upon those talents and gifts that we receive from our parents and grandparents."
With this in mind, Brett approached Sears, saying that as he shops for the important people in his life this holiday season, he planned on focusing on "finding those things that will help them realize their potential, realize how to master their own situations in life, and realize their own dreams and wishes."
Brett summarized his essay (it was so much more than just a blog post) with looking beyond his immediate family to the world of blogging and what he calls his "extended blogging family" with this: "I see in Sears and in the Grant a Wish program the opportunity for people looking to explore their creative side and work in blogging or podcasting or even learning how to do video, I see an opportunity." Brett advised people that were scouring the store shelves in search of the perfect gift for that special someone to "look at the products on the shelf, and think how those products might be used by the people that receive them to un-tap their potential. If you can do that, if you can even get a little close, you will probably Grant a Wish to the person you love and I believe that the gift that they receive will not go to waste."
Brett summed up his post with these thoughts: "Maybe you can provide some inspiration to someone that might just change the world, and if that’s true, then you will have changed the world a little bit for the better yourself!"
Honestly, I couldn't have said it better myself.

In the many months since the last airing of Battlestar Galactica I had forgotten about the magical
talents of dryope in securing beautiful, high res screen shots.
Dryope is very, very generous but please do not spoil the fun. No hotlinking to anything on dryope's blog, K?

From Battlestar Galactica 4x13 Sometimes A Great Notion- Helo on Earth
Gotta wonder what these two (XO Saul Tigh, Number 3, D'anna Biers) have to say to one another!
blog. Remember to say thank you!
The Sci Fi Channel has launched a viral campaign to reveal clues to the identity of the final Cylon- there are short pieces running during their programming that tell you to visit their website at You Will Know The Truth.
I am unable to view them using Internet Explorer browser so I'd suggest Firefox browser.
I'm having a bit of bad luck with the latest You Will Know The Truth clue. I found it but I cannot find a clip to share here.
The clue feels very much out of context.
Felix seems to be doing a stream of consciousness thing--sort of blathering--could be drunk or high on Morpha--to Gaius Baltar, of all people. Felix reminisces about unfulfilled plans to be an architect and ponders if anyone will ever realize who the real Felix is. With an echo-chamber effect at the tail end of the clue Baltar say that he knows Felix.
It's going to drive me nuts if people start thinking this is proof positive that Felix is the Final Cylon because if anything, this pretty well seals that door closed.
Who is the real Felix?
Kind of a complicated guy.
Earlier in the series he was not fleshed out--just a very by-the-book, duty-conscious dude. Later on the writers expanded the character most notably when on New Caprica he repeatedly risked his life for the Resistance. But the duty-bound, honest-seeming guy did an about face during the trial of Gaius Baltar when Gaeta's false testimony would have had Baltar executed. Gaeta never recanted that Baltar signed the death order for hundreds of New Capricans, period. Instead Felix witnessed Baltar literally with a gun to his head being forced by the Cylons to sign.
Only Lee Adama's heretofore unknown mad lawyering skillz saved Baltar.
So why are Baltar and Gaeta seeming to be having a wee tête-à-tête? I really don't know. Perhaps we'll find out when we have some context to the scene.

Winter doesn’t officially begin in the Northern Hemisphere until around December 21st. Known as the Winter Solstice, this is when for locations north of the equator the Sun is the lowest in the southern sky making it the shortest day of the year.
Skywatchers will notice that throughout the fall season, the Sun’s midday position in the sky slowly sinks closer to the horizon, making for ever-longer shadows. Meanwhile, the Sun appears to move toward the south day by day, rising farther from the east and setting farther from the west as we approach the winter solstice. During winter the Earth's northern axis is slightly tilted away from the Sun and so the Northern Hemisphere receives less sunlight.
On the first day of winter the Sun rises as far south of due east as it gets for the year and for the next few days the Sun appears to rise at the same place on the horizon. This moment in the year is when the shadows stretch their longest, and we get the fewest daylight hours. After the solstice the Sun’s pathway across the sky appears to head back in the opposite direction until it reaches its northern limit during the summer solstice in June.
The exact date and time of the winter solstice, while always occurring within a day or two of December 21, changes from year to year because of the difference between a calendar year of 365 days, and the solar year of 365.26 days - the exact time it takes for the Earth to make one trip around the Sun.

Battlestar Galactica - The Face of the Enemy - Webisode 3
Gaeta realizes that he knows one of the Eights more than he lets the others believe.
Raptor pilot: We're at 68% of ships normal load, too.
Co-pilot:Sixty-eight? At that level you're talking memory loss, irrational behaviour, depression, dizziness...
Felix: You're her.
Drake: Aren't you frakkin' lucky that you've got a mechanic on board.
Felix and the Eight collude on New Caprica.
Drake: Gods dammit. There's a loose connection here.
Drake: I just can't get inside.
Eight: Let me do it.
Eight: Got it.
Gaeta: No pulse. She's dead.
New Caprica Eight: Look at her pliers.
Felix: The insulating grip has been stripped off.
Felix: Who did this?
Drake reacts.
Pilot and co-pilot react.

DO YOU TAKE DEXTER MORGAN?
Episode 312, the third season finale.
Synopsis- Commentary follows
With Miguel out of the picture, Dexter’s focus shifts to calming his
emotionally unstable brother, Ramon. Upon easing Ramon’s concerns,
Dexter can finally breathe again. All that stands before him now is his
wedding with Rita… until he’s met with yet another deadly surprise.
Meanwhile, Debra’s informed by Batista that she is going to receive her
Detective’s shield, but is instantly blindsided with information that
could potentially derail her promotion.
Sunday nights are not going to be the same without Dexter.
Though I enjoying perusing them, I'm not one for leaving comments at other sites that write about the show. It seems like such a convoluted conversation is always going on--with the inevitable nitpicking and opinions about how "good" or "bad" an episode was.
One site, io9.com, actually warns it's readers to only leave quality comments. Their snarkiness is unnecessary and frankly, I think they have too big an opinion of themselves. But some viewers like to get ripped on, it seems.
Moving on.
This was an average Dexter episode, meaning it was better than anything on non-cable television. It absolutely left a lot of strings dangling: What about Debra's new partner, Quinn? Is Angel's new "angel" just an average cop or does she have something going on that we don't know about? Where will the Debra and Anton romance go? How will Debra react when she finds out that Harry Morgan had an affair with Dex's mom who BTW, was at Dex's wedding, like Harry,in ghost form looking way too much like Rita(!)
The most obvious question is how will Dexter manage his new roles as a husband and father? He has played the role of substitute dad to Rita's kids but has always been able to leave and resume his non domestic activities and return to his bachelor pad. I'm assuming this will be the overarching theme to Season Four of Dexter. Let's not forget that the reason Dexter began seeing Rita was because she was just as damaged as he. How will these two damaged people make a life together? Is it even possible? Though Dexter obviously takes pleasure in making pancakes for the kids and picking them up after school he still enjoys serial killing as much as ever. How can he possibly keep the two worlds from colliding?
Dex's dead dad (James Remar) and dead bio-mom
The Skinner case was resolved. From the outset, it was pretty obvious that Dex could outwit the guy and he quickly did though he had to break his own hand to do so. A very bad sign of the future ties in with the broken hand when dancing with with Rita at their wedding a few drops of blood fell from beneath Dex's bandages onto Rita's pure white wedding gown. Yikes!
So yes, this season drove home, maybe too bluntly, that everyone has secrets and that knowledge for Dexter somehow normalizes his secret-keeping or at least that is what he seems to be concluding. Dexter seems to be feeling more human now than he ever has--making him more vulnerable which ought to open up some interesting story lines for Season Four.
What I want to know is, Can I take over the lease on the cool apartment on the waterfront that Dex must now sacrifice?
Wedding Party: Click to enlarge (photos: Showtime)
My favourite lines:
"You don't always have to destroy a wounded animal. Sometimes you just remove the thorn." (Dexter to himself in reference to the sole surviving Prado brother, Ramon.) Dexter could just as easily be referring to himself--but he's not there yet.
Dexter promising "to be the very best husband and father that I can be"--" a completely, utterly honest vow," his inner voice tells us. Dex had pondered for days (weeks?) about his vows but nothing sounded genuine to him. He finally chose the simplest and as he notes, most honest vows he could utter.
"All of my previous attempts at human connection have ended in death, and now I have a partner for life; how did that happen?"(Dexter's inner dialogue, spoken with a touch of astonishment.)

I just finished a couple of hours of sorting through the plethora of Battlestar Galactica musings, spoilers, and speculation on the web and my head is feeling a bit fraked--and that was before I started.
I'm off to a late start I know, but I may as well dive in and start off with some juicy bits from a fellow fan "girl," The Watcher, (Maureen Ryan) from her column yesterday.
First, here's a promo poster of um, who is that girl? The chin seems familiar and the sort of strong nose, blond, and dogtags! It is Starbuck... without eyes? Gawd, I hope this means they are not going to blind her. Argh! The speculation has obviously scrambled my brains. Click on the graphic to get a real eyeful of Starbuck (Katee Sackhoff).
As Maureen (and many others) made mention: Don't forget to get fully on board with the publicity machine by watching the first installment of the new set of Webisodes at 12 noon E/11 a.m. Central Time on Friday, December 12, with the webisodes continuing right up to the BSG Season premiere!

Right now there are 6 official clues, with another coming on the 12th.
The six clues follow the Newest Sneak Peek Videos!

Clue #1
Clue #2
"And the fifth, still in shadow, will claw toward the light, hungering for redemption that will only come in the howl of terrible suffering. I can see them all. The seven, now six, self-described machines who believe themselves without sin, but in time, it is sin that will consume them. They will know enmity, bitterness, the wrenching agony of the one splintering into the many, and then they will join the promised-land, gathered on the wings of an angel. Not an end, but a beginning."
Clue #3
Audio clip extracted from the footage shown on Thanksgiving.
Leoben to Kara: Kara, what is it? What does it mean?
This is strange. Is Kara actually with Sam but hearing/seeing Leoben?
Clue #4 Video clip of Lee Adama and Tom Zarek at a press conference.
I have to get this off my chest. I hate "Tom Zarek." He is without doubt the worst bit of stunt-casting I've ever had to endure and it's doubling annoying because it's on my favourite show. What's-his-name who plays him yeah, I know, was Apollo on the craptastic "original" series in 1980(?) Couldn't they have cast the late Lorne Greene instead? Just intersplice cuts of him saying various lines like in some of the fan-made videos? Even dead, he would have been 100 times better than Mr. Egotistical./end rant
Clue #5: Cylon Fetus
Clue #6: Clip with Gaius Baltar and Head Six talking about the Gods of the humans vs the Cylons -
Clue #7 The Last Supper photo released December, 2009.
EDIT/ I cannot believe--I was so bleary eyed last night
that I completely breezed by the fact that this photo has been altered!
Laura Roslin and her lit candle are both gone! Don't believe Ron Moore
when he says the Final Cylon is not at the table. He prevaricates!

Desmond Harrington as Quinn, Jennifer Carpenter as Debra
"I HAD A DREAM" Dexter - Episode 3.11
While preparing for his big wedding day, Dexter has to figure out a way to remove Miguel from his life for good. But how does Dexter manage to do this when Miguel is not only a highly placed D.A., but also his Best Man? Rita has troubles of her own, when Syl reveals that Miguel has been seeing one of his old flames. Meanwhile, Debra finds a new clue that brings her even closer to catching the Skinner.
When last we saw Dexter he'd been grabbed from behind, had his head shrouded, and was hog-tied with duct tape and stuffed into the trunk of a Caddy.
To his great relief, Dexter had been "kidnapped" by Masuka and gang for Dex's bachelor party.
I'm sure like Dex, some of the audience was fooled but spouse and I immediately questioned who the caddy belonged to. The Skinner? Not hardly. Miguel Prado? Well, if it did it was the first time we'd ever seen it. His ride is the now-notorious black SUV.
I was definitely surprised with the outcome tho' and thought the sequence was handled cleverly.
Though Dex seemed to lose his stride after killing his sociopath brother at the end of Season One, by the time he met ADA Miguel Prado in this, Season 3, Dex seemed like he was back in the saddle. But the temptation of dealing with a won't take no for an answer-type like Miguel pushing and pushing to be his "friend" had Dexter letting his guard down and eventually allowing Miguel to be a part of a kill.
Dex quickly found that was a huge mistake when Prado killed again--without Dex's overseeing it and worse, an innocent women was put to death. This obviously rattled Dexter even more so that even he snapped out of the fantasy of having a true confidante and friend and instead focused on stopping Miguel from a killing spree in the making.
Before Dex killed him, Miguel put the still-wanted Skinner onto Dex's trail and since that was not dealt with in this eppy, it's inevitable that it will have to be in next week's season finale which is supposed to include Dexter's wedding to the pregnant Rita, too.
Only Deb and her partner, Quinn caught the scent of the Skinner and almost had him until Quinn's pursuit was interrupted by the Skinner's blade.
I'm unsure how all these loose ends can be tied up in next week and so I'm wondering if unlike Season One and Two if Season Three of Dexter will have a cliffhanger ending.
The sneak peeks though interesting, give us precious little to go on in that regard so we shall just have to wait it out to see what becomes of Debra's attempt to get her shield as well as how Dexter's kill of Miguel is handled. In the mix too is Maria's knowledge about what Miguel did to her good friend, Ellen Wolf and if her guilt about no one but she and Dex knowing who actually did it will get the best of her and by extension Dexter, too.
Lauren Velez as LaGuerda, Jimmy Smits as Miguel
Dexter's Apartment
The police search Dexter's apartment for evidence.
Secrets
Laguerta comes to Dexter for advice about Miguel.
NEXT WEEK: DO YOU TAKE DEXTER MORGAN? In episode 312, the third season finale, Dexter attempts to calm the emotionally unstable Ramon now that Miguel is out of the picture; Debra is about to receive her detective's shield but is blind-sided with information that could derail her promotion.

A Vatican newspaper has forgiven the late English singer John Lennon for saying four decades ago that The Beatles were more popular than Jesus.
In an article praising The Beatles, L'Osservatore Romano said Lennon had just been showing off.
If Lennon were alive now he'd be 68! I think he'd have a pithy comment about this pardon.
BBC NEWS Charles Wheeler on the reaction to John Lennon's claim in 1966 (old-timey videotape)
I have a blog with a name that was in inspired by the Beatles song The End from the last line--though to my dismay it seems that it was a McCartney song with little input from Lennon though as usual, credit went to both: "Lennon-McCartney." I’d chosen it for my first WordPress blog after about 8 years with it for my email addy. The blog, which is about a year old is The Love You Make.
John Lennon was killed about a week after my 21st birthday–which sort of took the wind of that
milestone. It was years before I could listen to a song of his without thinking of how he died.
I wonder if his loved ones will ever be able to?
The line “And, in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make” is essentially the Beatles closing statement. It is the last lyric on the last album they recorded. Let It Be was the last album they released, but it was recorded earlier. This contains the only drum solo Ringo ever performed. He hates solos and had to be persuaded to do it. Lennon, McCartney and Harrison took turns doing guitar solos. Each had a distinctive style which McCartney felt reflected their personalities. “Love You” is repeated 24 times. This starts over the end of “Carry That Weight.” It is the last song in a suite at the end of Abbey Road. This ends with a 30-piece orchestra.

I was extra super-happy that Barack Obama became our President elect because I too, live in a outer suburb of Chicago. Hometown guy makes good. :) Hey, I'm not from here originally but how long do you have to live somewhere before it becomes home? Regardless, Obama and I happened to show up to the Chicago suburbs about the same time, the second part of the 1980's.
Coverage of Obama started in the greater Chicago area before it went national. I remember him back to 2003, paid attention to his rising star, and the name was familiar before then as he was a community activist. So there is absolutely an adopted home-town son feel. One could sense that from watching the sea of faces in Grant Park on that fantastically mild Lake Michigan Chicago November 4 election night.
But Barack Obama as you most probably know, is not "of" Chicago originally. He was born in Hawaii to an 18 y.o. mother living with both she and her parents and growing up in several far-flung places.
This morning I picked up the first section of the newly redesigned and made smaller (staff and actual-size-holding-it) Chicago Tribune and I found near the end of a perfectly good section a full-page "unelect Obama" advert/open letter.
Such bullshite this organization spews.
At first, it's condescending tone to President-elect Obama irritated me but it was more. If they could have they would have called him out as "boy."
In a nutshell: They are fanatics as well as flat-out wrong.
They frame their argument around Barack's place of birth.
If his mom had been 19 instead of 18 at his birth, they 'd not even have a starting point about his citizenship. However she was 18 and the laws on the books at that time state that the baby, if he were to be born outside the US to a non-US father--but an 18 and younger mother then no American citizenship for the baby. The kid would have to be naturalized---then non-eligible to be a US president.
However, as the Tribune in it's reporting of facts capacity pointed out, this argument is moot because Barack Obama was born (a couple years after me) in Hawaii in an American family. I know for a fact that Hawaii was a US state when he was born as I was born the year it got the prize-1959.
Please, group of people who are afraid of Barack Obama in the White House, Why do you think you can keep him out when the Republicans couldn't? Do you not honestly realize that they would have nailed him on this if they could've? They couldn't and you won't because Barack Obama was born in the USA and is in every way American.
So bugger off.
You say that you can "only afford" to advertise in a newspaper representing his city? That is so funny to me.

We already knew that Kate was packing her bags furiously, including a Glock pistol, and was whisking little Aaron off to parts unknown. This clip shows you the impetus for her hurried departure. Also thanks to The ODI via SpoilerTV for the screen caps from this clip.

"GO YOUR OWN WAY" Dexter - Episode 3.10
Dexter feels like he’s making a deal with the devil when he feigns civility around Miguel after his duplicitous ways. He finds himself in a series of chess-like moves against his former friend, all while hoping that Miguel doesn’t get the upper hand on him. Meanwhile, Dex watches helplessly as Miguel draws Rita closer through a wonderful wedding gift. Debra, now back with Anton after his close call with the Skinner, wonders if her relationship with him is worth putting her career in jeopardy. After all, is it smart for everyone to know that she is dating a former confidential informant?
Most of the episode, "Go Your Own Way" involved the stoking of the Dexter-Miguel fires which should be in full blaze come next week.
Dexter's bachelor party being planned by Masuka (who better?) was a (tiny) sub-plot as was one longer scene with La Guerda (Lauren Velez) and Miguel (Jimmy Smits) in an almost compromising position which Dexter interrupted. Later, Rita ratted out Miguel to his wife, "Syl" about the encounter while shopping for her wedding gown. Syl had confided to Rita, in what are some of the weaker scenes this season (What is this, Dexter's Desperate Housewives? Yikes.), that she's convinced Miguel is catting around.
Dexter's showing up at Maria Laguerta's door for a dumb reason caught them in mid-smooch and made Miguel a little pissy but he looked as if he'd like to literally murder Dex after he'd assumed that Dex sent his wife barging in on the heels of Dex. I'm sure though, she'd be much more upset if she knew the real reason Miguel has been keeping funny nighttime hours.
I liked this episode even though it appears like Anton and Debra broke up. There is a scene in one of the previews (below) when Deb's seeing Anton in an official capacity with him answering questions as the surviving victim of the Skinner. He literally reached out to her physically as well as emotionally and the scene was very nicely played by both Jennifer Carpenter (Debra) and David Ramsey (Anton). It is touching and powerful and it's just a snippet from next week! This week left off with Dex hogtied in the trunk of a Caddy, contemplating his own death (for a change)!
SPECULATION:
In the shot with Debra and Anton at the police station from the promo-preview clip she is quite shaken by something before she even begins the interview. News of Dexter's mishap? But how so when the preview has Dex "preparing for his big wedding day" as well as coping with the monstrous Miguel?
Is he SuperDexter now and we're just s'pose to assume he can overcome anyone or anything? Or maybe just clever, egomanical sociopaths like Miguel Prado and his buddy the Skinner?
How It Ends
Words Don't Say It
CAST:
Kristin Dattilo ... Det. Barbara Gianna, David Ramsey ... Anton, Desmond Harrington ... Joey Quinn, Jimmy Smits ... Miguel Prado, C.S. Lee ... Vince Masuka, James Remar ... Harry Morgan, David Zayas ... Angel Batista, Lauren Vélez ... Lt. Maria Laguerta, Jennifer Carpenter ... Debra Morgan, Valerie Cruz ...Sylvia Prado, Julie Benz ... Rita Bennett, Michael C. Hall ... Dexter Morgan
NEXT Week:
"I HAD A DREAM" Dexter - Episode 3.11
While preparing for his big wedding day, Dexter has to figure out a way to remove Miguel from his life for good. But how does Dexter manage to do this when Miguel is not only a highly placed D.A., but also his Best Man? Rita has troubles of her own, when Syl reveals that Miguel has been seeing one of his old flames. Meanwhile, Debra finds a new clue that brings her even closer to catching the Skinner.
