Shoved on Rick by Shane. This happens next.

Rick is literally part of a walker pile-up. The really fun part was when the guy on top, very much not-yet-headshot, was working furiously to get to Rick, who was just a s furiously shooting the next closest-atop-him walker. Pinned under a pileup of walkers--so what to do about the topmost hungry guy? Blow through the guy just below him's head until a bullet goes into the head of the troublesome top-of-pile walker. Biting problem solved. Not unpinned yet, tho'.

 

The Walking Dead's 'Rick Grimes' (Andrew Lincoln) watches intently as his and 'Shane's' stunt-man doubles go through part of the now-pivotal fight scene.

This marks the first time Shane has tried to kill Rick. The first time, nosy old 'Dale' caught him in the almost-act--which deterred him and deferred this--which  has been on the horizon for a while. It'll be awesome to watch it play out.

Shane has just unleashed the walkers in his murder attempton Rick. Be sure to listen to Andrew Lincoln's explanation (see VIDEO) of his character 'Rick Grime's, belief in 'humanity and Shane specifically, that motivate him to continue trying keep Shane close (above).

At this point, Rick and the captive Randall have taken off for the car--Shane's car--and hope is just about lost as Shane tires from the horde that is now about to burst in the school bus door and devour him....

Oh yes, that is Rick Grimes literally riding shotgun (!), saving Shane's hide. Can Shane be redeemed? I think we may find out soon.

Special Effects Make-Up Designer Greg Nicotero in The Walking Dead's infamous zombie night attack on the camp. About 40 zombies were in the camp attack. Nicotero led the way.

He was also the one who bit Amy.

The cast and creators of The Walking Dead talk about what might be in store for them in Season 2.

The Walking Dead's first season ended quite literally with a bang, leaving many fans grappling with burning questions as to the fate of Rick Grimes and his fellow survivors. In this new video, The Walking Dead cast and crew address some of these questions and discuss their hopes for Season 2. "Is there a chance of a cure, will they survive, where will they go?" asks Producer Denise Huth. Executive Producer Frank Darabont, for his part, adds: "I want the audience to feel uncertain when they tune in."

Check out this new video interview with the producers as well as cast members Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori), Jon Bernthal (Shane), Laurie Holden (Andrea) and more, and you just may get some valuable insight into where The Walking Dead is heading next.

The Walking Dead, The New York Times Best-Selling comic book series about a group of survivors in the middle of a zombie apocalypse premiered on AMC, with: "Days Gone Bye."

Rick Grimes stole her bike but left her like this for awhile. Did you see the cool "making of"  video for this particular actor? Very neat, like for instance though obviously CGI is needed for her missing lower half, her ribs are part of her makeup and prosthetics. See the nifty 5-minute 'making of' for this poor creature that SPOILER!!! Rick utimately returns to put out of it's misery.

Story: Some time after suffering an injury during an intense shootout, police officer Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) awakens from a coma only to find himself trapped in a new nightmare. The world he remembers is gone, replaced by a bleak wasteland filled to the brim with a flesh-eating horde of undead monsters. October 31, 2010 @10/9C.

Directed/writen by Frank Darabont (Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Mist), Produced by Gale Anne Hurd (Aliens, Terminator), special effects/make-up designer Greg Nicotero (Land of the Dead, Sin City), Composer: Bear McCreary (“Battlestar Galactica,” “Sarah Connor Chronicles”).

The show is full of serious gore but zombie gore for some reason, has never bothered me, maybe because they are dead already. But what about the survivors? How 'bout this: The name of the show refers to the survivors(!)
