I think Claire Danes is my favourite actress in any drama right now. She is simply unsurpasssed.
It seems that the Emmy Awards folks agree as the star of Homeland on Showtime was just awarded her second Emmy (she was first nominated as a teenager for the unforgettable 'My So-Called Life') for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series! I've posted her acceptance speech because she is really lovely--truly a class act.

'Maybe it was the excitement from winning, maybe it was the pregnancy hormones, but when Claire Danes took the stage after winning Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, she didn't hold anything back. When's the last time you heard "baby daddy" uttered during an acceptance speech? Holla!'
