Jeremy Allen White talks about his character Lip, and how he ended up with the role.

Jeremy White as 'Lip', the eldest Gallagher son, is probably my favorite male character on the show. Though not the 'leading-man'-type in the stereotypical way, White has a dynamic energy and amazingly subtle comedic timing that has great appeal. I'd not ever seen  his work prior to  "Shameless," but I enjoy him immensely and hope to see him continue doing the great work he does both on Shameless and elsewhere!

 

Hard to believe my friends, but we are already 5 episodes in to Shameless!
