Really like this mini interview with John Wells. I have both watched and not watched a good chunk of Well's work. Part of it seems to be that he has such a huge body of work. I followed China Beach and ER but have never seen the highly acclaimed "The West Wing,' 'Third Watch' or the currently hot, hot, hot 'Southland.' I adored China Beach and ER for many years so when I saw Wells' name attached to 'Shameless,' I was interested immediately because viewing Well's work is so satisfying. Why watch a television show whether on premium cable or not, unless you enjoy it, right? So have a listen to John Wells describe Shameless's overarching theme, what you can expect from upcoming episodes, and Wells' surprising advice if you didn't like the first episode. Shameless airs on Showtime on Sundays at 10 p.m.
