Courtney Ford has been cast on True Blood as Andy Bellefluer's sister, Portia.
Ford played Season 4 'Dexter's' Murderous, Mixed Up Daughter of Serial Killer 'Trinity'
True Blood has made its second major Season 4 hire: Dexter actress Courtney Ford is joining the HBO smash in a recurring role. The actress, who just completed a stint on another vampire drama, The CW's The Vampire Diaries — will play Portia Bellefleur, a classic Southern beauty who runs her own law practice. The character is the sister of Bon Temps' bumbling detective Andy (Chris Bauer). The news comes just days after Irish actress Fiona Shaw was cast in the series regular role of Marnie, a self-loathing medium who becomes possessed by a witch.

Courtney Ford was wonderful (and creepy) on Dexter last season as serial killer Trinity's (secret) daughter, a reporter who ended up murdering for him, then killing herself.
Very intense role and she pulled it off. I'm sure she'll be able to handle with aplomb anything the True Blood writers throw at her. Should be fun!
