Oh baby, this poster (click to enlarge) is just chock full o' foreboding! And hoo-boy, is it sexually charged!
I absolutely do think that we are meant to pick up hints of what may come in Season 3 beginning with our young Jessica, front and center, legs splayed, with what can only be interpreted as a huge phallic symbol (snake) between her legs. She and Pam are making eye contact as well as wearing similar colours--this ain't no accident!
There are tons more hints which I hope you enjoy as much as I plan to later when I have more time to "indulge." I must extend my thanks to Alan Ball and HBO and his/their creative team(s) behind True Blood Season 3 promotion as they really do make the wait so much easier with all the distractions to mull over including the collectible posters (available here-- see header-area tab), the clever and tantalizing character-centered "In Production" video snippets & the Season 3 photo stills./ EDIT And now Alan Ball's 'Drop of True Blood' Minisodes. All this good stuff makes waiting for Season 3 quite bearable because it feels like a bit of it is here already!
