This episode ran 90 minutes with commercials. It literally ran--it smoked for almost ever second of screen time. Thank you, suits at FX/FOX for knowing when to let Kurt Sutter run overtime telling his stories.

Gemma & Clay and Jax and Tara. With the club now fractured both in spirit and flesh, determined to save the SOA from imploding, Gemma finally tells the men about the abduction,and gang rape she suffered at Zobelle's thug's hands. (Tara knew of course, because she helped tend to Gemma in the aftermath).
When the skinheads/Zobelle attacked Gemma, gang raping and threatening her, they banked on her telling the SOA, bringing them down as part of their strategy to take over Charming. She knew this and would not give them that, though it damn near broke her spirit.
Jax has just asked for and gotten a transfer (unanimous vote) to biker limbo-land (going 'nomad'), as the troubles which have left club members or their families blinded, blasted, bloodied, behind bars, and murdered, continue ever-strong with the Irish, the feds, the skinheads and Zobelle vs. SAMCRO.
