Remember, there are spoilers here. IMO, the identity of the final cylon is going to seem sort of anti-climatic. When the four, Tori, Tigh, Sam T. Anders, and Tyrol, were revealed it was shocking. This time there has been so much speculation, not to mention spoilers that the focus of the entire rest of the series seems to have been shoved aside. I hope that the FC is revealed right away to the audience so we can get that out of the way and dig in the the last of this incarnation of Battlestar Galactica.
This is NOT Adama grieving over Roslin! But it is from a new episode.
Here are all seven new clues from January 15,2009. Less than a day to go!
20. Video. Kara climbs out of her Viper in the landing bay and strides purposely over to a Raptor joining Adama, Roslin and Lee. An Eight in a cylon flight suit exits the Raptor. Kara has a very dark look on her face and her hand on her still-sheathed weapon. Lee's body language--crossing his arms--seems to signal his dislike. We do not see who exits the Raptor after the Eight. Video goes to black and Roslin clearly enunciates, "Oh. my. gods."
21. Video. Inside Galactica corridors: Lee and Adama follow Roslin and Lee tells Roslin that they need to tell the Quorum "something" and that it should come from "their president." Roslin simply stares at him as if not hearing and continues on her way. (This scene seems to be right after video clip #22--couldn't they put 'em in order for us?) Bill tells Lee, "Carry the ball," and walks off in the opposite direction of Laura. Saul Tigh is there and he approaches Adama, saying, "Bill, we need to talk." Adama walks right around him as if he weren't there. In Bill's wake, Tigh utters softly, "Lotta things I gotta explain."
22. Video. Hangar Bay. A large, hushed crowd gathers around a Raptor from which Roslin, Adama and Lee emerge dressed as we last saw them on nuked-Earth. The three pause as Laura surveys the crowd. She opens her mouth as if to say something several times--but says nothing. She bites her lip, shakes her head slightly, indicating, "no." The crowd looks to her expectantly, as if waiting for good news. She turns to Adama and whispers,"Get me out of here." As Roslin and Adama hurry through the crowd a chorus of "Madam President?" erupts. The crowd pushes toward her, Adama puts himself between Roslin and the crowd as they head toward and exit as a Marine flanks them.
23. Video. Adama calls Roslin in her quarters on the Galactica but she ignores the persistent buzzing of the ancient corded telephone. She is dressed in her nightclothes, standing over an assortment of meds.--many colours and shapes of pills. She's deep in thought then begins to toss the lose ones in the trash, seems to heave a sigh of relief and finishes by throwing all the bottles of pills in the bin.
24. Video. Roslin and Baltar are in a storage bay alone conversing:
Roslin speaks first: "Who would have thought? You probably knew him (Gaeta) better than anyone back on New Caprica." Baltar responds with, "Obviously, his loyalties were divided even back then. Seems we both made pretty bad choices when it came to our presidential aide d'camp, wouldn't you say?" Roslin nods slightly.
25. Video. Baltar is preaching to the masses who seem to be less-fringe-looking and more diverse. Baltar yells to the cheers of his followers, "It is God himself who should come down here and beg for our forgiveness!" there is a disease aboard this ship and ii is a disease of denial. the crows cheers. Galen Tyrol has been watching Baltar impassively but spots Hotdog across the room. Their eyes meet and Tyrol with obvious purpose, begins to make his way through the crowd to Hotdog. Hotdog begins towards Tyrol too but nowhere near as purposefully. The crowds continues it's roaring and cheering at Baltar's every utterance.
26. Video. Baltar on a Galactica phone - "What do I want? I want this to stop, right now, this is madness." (We've previously heard audio of this and in that audio it appeared he was speaking with Felix Gaeta).
