My favorite Dockers® "Livemercial" is the one done
by John Melendez. As Jay Leno states in his introduction to John Melendez's
live commercial, The Tonight Show has a long and storied history of doing live commercials.
In that spirit, Mr. Melendez presented his "livemercial" via a
slideshow which featured him wearing Dockers in various famous
locations in San Francisco with
himself injected into typical tourist shots like in front of the Golden Gate Bridge.
The humorous spin that Mr. Melendez added was his belief that "everyone" wants to check him out whenever he wears Dockers. The expressions on the tourists’ faces as he breached their personal space told a different story and therein lies the humor.
I also liked that Mr. Melendez is a typical-looking man, not model perfect, yet
he looks terrific in Dockers in each situation he was in.
I think it would be great fun for
Dockers wearers to enter the Dockers TV Commercial Contest at
www.nbc.com/Dockers. You'll have the chance to make a 30-second original video
advertisement for the Dockers contest with the video entries being posted online at
http://www.nbc.com/dockers where they can be rated by viewers. After all the entries
have been submitted they will be given to NBC where one will be up for a chance
to be shown as a commercial during the June 13, 2008 broadcast of the Tonight Show
as well as being posted online at NBC.com. This sounds very exciting! Why not
go for it?

Have you seen one of the latest Dockers commercial submissions? It's hysterical. Check it out below!
