It's April 4th! I must pinch myself as this is the night!
Battlestar Galactica resumes tonight, beginning it's final season on the SciFi Channel today at 10/9C!
I checked the official website and they've shown it already, though! At 11 a.m. our time. All the more reason for more buzz.
But Dudes! Not fair!
As I've said, I haven't been keeping up with entertainment television, Internet, none of it. Then weeks later a snippet of info passes in my sight line and I'm all "Whoa! WTF! (What the frak!).
So crap, they already showed it today.
Fine. I'll watch both showings tonight./end rant.
I know I'm a bit of a mush-ball when it comes to superb television drama--partly I'm sure because I've seen so little of it in my lifetime, but when I saw the video which I'll link to in a minute, I literally had tears streaming down my cheeks. It's heartbreaking and scary and exciting and suspenseful! The music by Bear McCreary with the urgent, yet solemn strings, the mood created by the setting--the acting--and the snippets of where the storyline is going--all soooo wonderful!
There has never been nor will there ever be a science fiction television series quite like Battlestar Galactica.
I love this show!
