OK. Remember to breathe. I just watched the most kick ass video sneak peek preview at E! Thank you, Kristin. Then I visited the Official SCI FI Channel's Site a/k/a Skiffy and found this below.......OMG!!! Ten stars of BSG on Letterman at one time tho' maybe just for the Top 10 List on March 19. I don't care. I'll take it!
From: SCI FI Channel's Site a/k/a Skiffy 12:00 AM, 13-MARCH-08 Letterman To Host Battlestar Cast Ten stars of SCI FI Channel's original series Battlestar Galactica will make an appearance on CBS' Late Show With David Letterman to present the Top 10 List on March 19.
They include Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, Katee
Sackhoff, Jamie Bamber, James Callis, Tricia Helfer, Grace Park,
Michael Hogan, Aaron Douglas and Lucy Lawless. The show airs at 11:35
p.m. ET/PT.
The fourth season of Battlestar Galactica kicks off on
March 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT with two back-to-back half-hour specials (recaps). The first new episode premieres the following week, April 4, 10
p.m Eastern.
All hail EJO! But take a look at who else is on: Tricia Helfer (Caprica, Caprica Six, Number 6, Gina, ect.). She is pure yumminess, is Canadian, and is a better actor than 99% of former models, Canadian or otherwise. Jamie Bamber, a half American with a Brit accent (maybe he'll do The Top Ten list as Apollo), Katie Sackhoff--Starbuck (you should know this, people). Totally funny and cute in person! Also Canadian.
Also, the very lovely Grace Park, self-professed (tho' I think she was going for shock value) party animal and Vancouver native.
And more Canadians! The highly respected and much awarded actor Michael Hogan, as Saul Tigh.
Note to BSG props people: Please give Col. Tigh a nice eye patch.
Flesh colour looks yucky! Seriously, he'd look much more cool and scary in black. If Laura Roslin can get new suits, Saul can get a measly eye patch that doesn't look like something you'd purchase in the 5 and dime.
We also have (Canadian) Aaron Douglas ("Chief"--I love that guy!).
Also, be still my heart, British thespian James Callis (Gaius Baltar!).
Mary McDonnell, who justs just owns the pivotal role of President Laura Roslin will also join Letterman. Both Americans, I hope they don't feel hugely outnumbered. Regardless, I'm sure all the non-Americans will be polite (lol).
Despite the fact that Mary has had a bit of "plumping" done to her face, one still has to cheer for a middle-aged woman getting a juicy part. BUT Mary, it's OK to be and look middle-aged in real life so I hope you lay off the injections when you go on break! Then I'd love to see in in another juicy part! Do theatre or something British--they care less about natural aging. Besides, you are beautiful!
Finally Lucy Lawless, I hafta check because I keep thinking she's from New Zealand, then I want to correct myself and say that she's Aussie. Nope, born in NZ but has lived in lots of countries, now aspires to a singing career. She looks really good here:
