Season 4, Episode 7
First shown: Thu, March 20Juliet is forced to reveal some startling news to Jin when Sun threatens to move to Locke's camp. Meanwhile, Sayid and Desmond begin to get an idea of the freighter crew's mission when they meet the ship's Captain.
Sun gets a wacky idea to hike to Locke's camp. No one including Kate, who draws her a map seems to have a problem with this. They are however trying to sneak away.
Jin is quite frantic to get to the hospital...seems obvious why but...
Whaaaaaa? (But think. Remember Panda selling guy saying it was the Year Of The Dragon? (2000)
Possibly using that Golden Pass they got from Oceanic, Hurley is there in Korea to visit Sun's little girl.
Oh no. Not looking good! Hurley says she looks just like Jin, and then tells Sun “Let's go see him.” And that's when we know that Future Jin was actually Past Jin-- it was a flashback, and Jin is actually dead.
Jin's tombstone. Oh, dear. Click to enlarge and see the date of his death.
Sun says she misses Jin.
Who, back at the Island has gone fishing with Bernard and had a good chat about Karma.
Sajid, uh, did you notice that axe in the wall of the ship? Just asking.
Regina reads a book upside down and then takes a dive overboard. No one seems disturbed by this other than Sayid and Desmond. Guess life on the freighter really is different. Sayid and Desmond demands "answers." Now they know how the audience has felt for the past 3.5 years.
Captain Gault brings Sayid and Desmond into his chambers, where a fruitful discussion ensues. Gault reveals that Charles (Penny's dad) Widmore is in charge of the freighter. He also reveals that the Oceanic 815 crash was a setup that required an enormous amount of resources. He implies strongly that Ben is behind it.
Sneaky Michael. I don't remember this. It may be an outtake from the Regina jumps moments.
And that's about all that happened in this episode. It was very slow and it had both spouse and I looking at one another at the halfway point and mouthing "too much filler."
Stay tuned for next week in the last episode before a 5 or 6 week hiatus:
Oh-oh or red herring?
As the announcer intones, "someone is going to die."
Please Michael. for the sake of everyone's sanity--do not be calling Waaaaalt!
