Slush

We've had a 'bout of warmth.Everything is melted and puddling (is that  a word?)

I'm fairly certain that jayd brought it with him from the Pacific Northwest. As of today ALL the snow is gone--there are just puddles--some very large. It was 45(!) degrees F when I walked the dog tonight. She was happy getting to sniff the highly saturated ground. I wore waterproof boots. I was happy that I didn't have to wear a hat or scarf or gloves. :)                                 

Now however we are having the kind of weather extreme cold that causes wind burn and ick! I'm all peeling and scary-looking!

And a in a couple days it'll be in the 50's F.

Ever since global warming I've loved Chicago in January! (j/k)
