"He was too New York, too Italian, and he had too many wives."
DOROTHY KALIADES, of Queens, on the problems with Rudolph W. Giuliani’s presidential quest.
Opining that Rudy Giuliani is “probably the most under qualified man since George Bush to seek the presidency,” Sen. Joe Biden stated:
“There’s only three things he mentions in a sentence — a noun, a verb, and 9/11. There’s nothing else! There’s nothing else! And I mean this sincerely. He’s genuinely not qualified to be president.”
I know that many (most?) politicians are shameless self-promoters but Rudy Giuliani was such a slimeball about the way he campaigned, every time I saw him speak I wanted to throttle him.
I am so glad he's been flushed away...
Sadly, people will still pay lots of money to hear him talk of his own great heroics. He'll probably be making money off the backs of the victims of September 11, 2001 terrorism until the day he dies.

does that make Ray Nagin even more qualified to be President?
I really, really hope not.

I'm baffled as to what anyone ever saw in Giuliani. 9/11 was a disaster, an albatross hanging from his neck. New Orleans suffered an even bigger disaster--does that make Ray Nagin even more qualified to be President?
