The hardest part of writing online adverts isn't what I'd expected it to be.
It's not the writing of adverts that is kicking my butt. Usually they almost write themselves. ( Hold your comments here folks-- they are getting what they are paying for.)
No, what's making me rack my brains is trying to come up with fresh original content at a minimum of every other post for the non-advert posts.
One would think that it would be rather easy to just pick something and blather on about it for a couple paragraphs and call it a post and believe me, in the past month I've visited probably a hundred blogs and lots of people are writing about nothing. These people are not necessarily bad writers, they just have "random" ramblings about whatever pops into their heads.
Can I just say one thing? If I read that someone is writing about their " random ramblings" I'm going to immediately click to a new page, I don't care how highly touted the blog is. If you cannot come up with something more original to call your blog than Fluffy's Random Ramblings then I don't want to read whatever else you've got to say.
Next rant I'll tell you why I would like to hunt down have some really strong words with the originator of the phrase "mommy blog."

It's is kinda lame but I've heard much worse. ;)

I used to work with a columnist who titled his ramblings "Thoughts While Shaving." It's pretty lame and highlights the fact that you've got nothing to say. Not a good way to attract and retain an audience.
