Miscellaneous

Well the receipt came showing that Hawai'i is offically paid for :big sigh of relief:--at least plane fare and the room. I suppose we'll need to eat and have a bit of spending money, though as I mentioned we are hoping to do more outside things and take in lots of the sights (hopefully sightseeing is still free). Everyone that I mention this trip to goes on about how expensive Hawai'i is. Makes me more determined to find some "undiscovered" bargains--it's not like we are hanging in Honolulu on a shopping spree. Anyway, good on that and good that I just got notice that "Chris's" little 3-pixel pocket digital camera is to be shipped in the next two days. I was getting concerned as I hadn't heard anything and it's been three weeks. I notice I'm shooting a lot less with the big camera I have now--it's not condusive to just grabbing and going...so anyway the pocket camera is offically Chris's but he'll let me borrow it .
He's got choral camp for 4 days this week. Half a day of singing Monday-Thursday. He's not really excited about it but since they are travelling all the way to Hawai'i to compete they'd best be in fine harmony when they get there. Kind of farks up my week and I wonder what parents with traditional jobs do about having to just up a take their kid to singing at 2 o'clock in the afternoon? I swear, being a a parent is a full -time endeavor.
