Hello people!
We have another bright, sunny day--which generally means my temperment is the same.
Was going to check-in here last night but Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith ran really late for a 7:45 p.m. show. There were about a billion previews for the summer blockbuster wanna-bes. War of the Worlds was about the only one to tweak my interest--but it does star Tom Cruise--I'd have to overlook that. "Revenge of the Sith,"
like a friend who had seen it said, "didn't suck," but I'm not enough of a fan-girl to
overlook the dreadful script, wooden acting, and bad direction.
Yes, the last 30 minutes were good but that doesn't say much for the rest.
And as a aesthetically-oriented person I could throttle Lucas for inserting so many screen wipes--they just looked bad...grrr.
As an aside, the first comment my younger son made was that this
movie made him want to see the others again. I said sure--but no
Episode II for me.
