I've had two very average days.
You know, the same ol' sh--.
But the weather has been great. I always get a top-down ride in--even if it's short one--and that is always a very good thing. ;)
Today wasn't so bad- About two hours spent looking for stuff in a consignment shop I used to hit at least once a week was probably the high point--The owners, Joyce and Joanne, moved to a smaller store in a better location this year past, and really no longer sell any "sellable" books (they use to have some really awesome stuff from estates--stuff from the dead person's home direct to their store --but I have no real reason to go in there right now unless I have to, as I'm poor until Chris's Hawaii "tour" is paid for. The tally so far for 10 days is about $2000, plus spending money).
But today--I had reasons 1. Chris will soon need to shed his shorts for longer pants and they often have what I need clothes-wise and 2. I wanted to try to find something nice for my sis-in-law. We usually don't exchange gifts for the adults--but it's her 40th birthday this weekend and her husband (the part-time band guy) is giving her a party on Sunday. I did find her a really neat ceramic picture frame (kinda girly-- to her taste not mine--I can print out a pic of her brother and nephew at Disneyland or maybe I'll get all artsy--doubtful not time or inclination--argh, I'm bad) so we'll not go empty handed on Sunday. I have my brother's late-birthday lunch on Sunday as well--when it rains, it pours.
