It was a very interesting day--which I'll maybe talk about tomorrow.
Either my home network is fubar or Comcast is--either way I can't get on-line very well for very long, atm.
So I've been pulling out plugs and restarting the computer for an hour or so--(I think the router is fried, but spouse disagrees and he keeps farking around with the settings--though not tonite --he's fast asleep--missing all the fun), so finally I've resorted to old-fashioned 56K free Net Zero, Whoopee.
Everything here seems a bit more normal--after being the household streess meter being set on "very high" for at least the past week.
I went to singing tonight and we are still learning "Negro" spirituals--3 of 'em so far. The ironic thing is the only black guy in the group quit when he moved out of state--so we are very suburban-type people being taught Ebonics, essentially. It's quite interesting and at times amusing how truly lame we are. It's a different perspective and fun in a stranger-in-a-strange-land kind of way.
My youngest son and spouse ended up at Tower Records this evening while I was at chorus. A Star Wars-a-thon was just getting underway.
They went shopping so my son could make his first music purchase ever--he's just 12 in August-- and it's Weird Al Yankovic! Quite amusing. Tomorrow, he joins the Legos club at Jr. high. His geekiness makes me proud. :D
So I'm off to dreamland--I hope--have had rather a wild week in the sleep dept--only once due to bedroom activity. ;-)
So hi to everyone--I hope any broken hearts mend soon, and the new and "seasoned" loves stay bright, and I hope we all sleep long and peacefully.
