San Francisco, Open Those Golden Gates...

I'll be gone through next Monday. Going to San Francisco for a meet-up of folks I've known on-line and who have come to be friends. I'm extremely excited (and a bit nervous) but overall, thrilled to be going.

My day. The weather has sucked but since I'm leaving, it's going to turn hot. Heh.
The bright spot? After getting the last of the books shipped, I zipped by the pool and even though the skies had been threatening-looking all day, there was a lifeguard there and I got my swim in. It relaxed me greatly and I think it'll help me sleep.
I think all's good here on the homefront. I arranged a sleepover for my youngest on the one night his dad is working, o/w he'll be on his own for two days for a couple hours after school. I can live with that.
