Here I've been thinking that my blog buddies--all of them-- have been taking a rather long break.
Today, I got suspicious and used my "regular" link to Vanessa's weblog and lo and behold, she recounts that she's miffed that Kinja is not (or has not been) functional of late.
Gadzooks!
Turns out everyone's been writing but because I trusted bad Kinja to pull up my favourite blogs each time a new post was published with one-click ease, taking the "effort" out of visiting blogs, and
hasn't been doing it's job...grrr. Guess I'll search for people manually like in the old days. :sigh:

"There's also a sizeable number of blogs that don't work well with Kinja, anyway"
It's a lovely, easy-to-operate system? device? interface? --but Kinja has some gaping holes (which I imagine they are trying to plug).
I haven't found a blog manager that I liked more--but the "blindness" it has to some blogs is frustrating.

Yes, I was berefteded of it, and it felt all old and clunky to be hitting the link buttons - not least because I'd deleted a whole ton of them, thinking I'd never need them again. But it's working again, now.
