I started an audio blog today--for FREE!
If nothing else, listening to how awful I sound will help me clean up my speaking voice--at least the one I use when talking to myself. I must have said "um" a hundred times in the five-minute clip that one is given each time one records.
Must remember during pauses to say nothing.
The audio blog is to remain private.
Not going to do the poor-me thing because I love "here," but I can't say what I think/feel about a number of things.
And that's my own fault, as I've freely shared this address.
Everyone needs a private spot and though this is my personal spot it's a long way from private.
That lasted a long time.
Is that sarcasm dripping over there?

Ugh--my voice. Why didn't I listen to it sooner. Not only do I have a slight, controllable lisp but ugh, its nasally and monotone-ish!
Thank you all for taking pity on me and being nice. :D

Wow that was short! You sound so American to my ears - I forget, on the web, that everyone speaks and looks different, as we all merge into one pale, under-socialised Mythical Geek Presence in my head.....

Hey Sean,
The Voice Blog is fun and it seems to be serving it's purpose as when I really have something to say that is personal. It's easier to say it than to type it--I'm a poor typist.
The Voice Blog service is free via Blogger-Google.
It's a long distance charge--I've a package of 300 minutes that I keep (parents out of state) but don't use much--so this won't change my phone bill any unless I start having too much fun.
Cheers back at 'ya!

hey cyn,
an audio blog sounds rather intriguing . . . . .i once tried a taped journal, and i never listened to it more than once as i couldn't stand how i sounded. reading a journal is much much easier for me. i like your comment about everyone needing a private space . . . don't worry so much about all of the umms--they add to the flavor and will probably change and vanish in time. cheers!
