Status Of My Day

I'm really tired, but it's been fun so far. I've been to the symphony today, don't cha' know.  I went with a bunch of 6th graders--got to ride in my car instead of the bus--and we saw a performance adapted for younger people. They covered all the greats--mostly stuff all of us have heard--but a narrator gave a bit of background of the circumstances of how each piece was created. They finished with a rousing rendition of Pirates of the Caribbean--which all the kids loved--I did too--loved fantasizing about Johnny Depp. :)
