One of the Queen's corgis

LONDON -Dotty cleared in killing of Queen's dog.
Princess Anne's controversial bull terrier, accused of fatally mauling one of the Queen's corgis, has been exonerated.
Buckingham Palace officials are now fingering Florence, another one of Anne's terriers, as the culprit.
........................................
This is the exact look my dog has on her face, when she's done something she knows she shouldn't have.
What struck me though besides the cute little corgi, was that this story merited the attention it did in Canada.
I love my country as much as the next ex-pat, but when is it going to get past this silly fixation on the Queen (and her pack of dogs?!)

I am a Canadian national, but was dragged kicking and screaming to the US when I was 6 years old. I'm married to an American and have American kids, but my entire extended family lives in Ontario. So I sort of straddle the borders. I live in the Chicago area, where it (IMO) is colder than my native Toronto.

You live in Canada? Cool! (Maybe I should move to Canada, I like Canadians. But it's too cold...)

Awwww, she's a little fat naughty dog, isn't she?

He-he. I would think at least one of the corgi's deserves that "honour."

Considering the word "dotty" can be used in the UK to describe someone who is a bit mad, I think the name is a dead giveaway that she is the culprit.
I'm surprised (after seeing the recently announced list of honours) that they haven't given her the MBE by now.
